Dishonest, yes, against the law? No. Not thievery anyway.

Just when I think you couldn't get any stupider...
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

yes, cops never do anything against the law.  this supports my theory that you actually have never been outside of the house.

Spadaro was on WIP at 9am and said Wildwood police recovered the ring...

PoopyfaceMcGee

I still want to know how it got in a guy's hands that was dumb enough to put it on eBay.

His myspace says he's a cop. I doubt he's the one who stole it. If he is a cop he'll be giving that ring back to Spads.

everyone tells the gods honest truth on myspace

Not everyone, but when people lie they tend to pretend they are something that makes a lot of money. Who's going to pretend they are a cop?

Yep you never hear of people getting arrested for pretending to be a cop :-D

Yeah, there's plenty of cops out there breaking into people's houses and stealing NFCCG rings.  :-D

Everyone does things against the law obviously, I'm talking about felonies. I'm sure there's plenty of cops robbing houses all over. Hey, there was an arson in my neighborgood a couple of weeks ago, maybe it was a cop that did it. Think before you post.

This guy obviously wasn't the thief, if he actually is a cop.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.

All Fun For A Good Cause
June 10, 2006
By ZACH BERMAN

Donovan McNabb drew the spotlight as he roamed around the NovaCare Complex's indoor practice facility on Saturday joking with kids, his trademark smile never leaving his face during his annual All-Star Kids Football Clinic. Some of McNabb's teammates and other NFL players were scattered throughout, putting children clad with McNabb's jersey through drills the players went through during the week at the organized team activity.
The clinic gave a select group of kids the chance to learn football from McNabb and other Eagles and NFL players. Eagles running back Brian Westbrook and receiver Todd Pinkston were among McNabb's teammates in attendance, while Arizona Cardinals Pro Bowl defensive end Bertrand Berry and NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson were among the other players supporting McNabb's foundation, The Donovan McNabb Foundation which helps support the American Diabetes Association.

McNabb's father, Sam, has type 2 diabetes. The clinic concluded a charity weekend which included an online auction and a dinner party Friday night at Philadelphia's Zanzibar Blue.

But the focus of the clinic was on the kids, all of whom wore McNabb's jersey. And the irony is while the kids played football and enjoyed themselves, it was McNabb and the other players who seemed to have the most fun while they helped the kids.

WR Todd Pinkston was on hand to help out
"I enjoy having an opportunity to come out here with the kids and then these guys that we compete every Sunday with, and to have guys like Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson here, it's a blast for me," McNabb said before the clinic. "You want all the kids to meet and greet new guys. A lot of guys wanted to be a part of this, but couldn't because of they had either camp or prior engagements. But for the guys that are here and a part of it, we're going to have a great time.

"First you have to focus on the cause, and that's to raise money to help find a cure (for diabetes). And after that, let's buckle down and have some fun."

And the players took it seriously. Westbrook coordinated a group of kids to practice running back drills and race another group, and Westbrook didn't shy away from trying to win. Sam McNabb helped organize the event and watched the players and kids at work. He wasn't surprised by what he saw.

"These (players) are kids at heart anyways," Sam said. "They fit right in."

McNabb walked around throughout the event, interacting with the kids and maintaining his usual sense of humor. In the receiver drills - where Pinkston played the role of quarterback - McNabb came over to block a kid's way, drawing laughter from the group.

"I've been coming for the last three years, and the longer I've come, the bigger the crowd," Pinkston said. "It's great for not only Donovan, but for all these kids."

Stations were split up throughout the practice facility with different positions the focus of different stations. One station was run by offensive linemen, including second-round pick Winston Justice and Minnesota Vikings offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie. Pinkston and St. Louis Rams tight end Roland Williams helped coordinate the receiver station. Westbrook worked with the running backs, as did Dickerson.

"They're learning the game of football from a young age, and they have the professionals to help them do it," Westbrook said. "We're a team here. Anytime you get a chance to help the community out, it's really all about the kids. I love to help Donovan out anytime I can, but I love to help the kids a lot more."

Good stuff. :yay I bet those kids had a ball. One cool thing is they all got jerseys, the look like they may be authentic to boot. It is really a 180 to the T.O Youth Camp debacle, which you can read about in the "Assface Signs with Dallas" thread in Around the NFL forum.
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.
