He's the guy the Pirates traded to Cincy for Sean Casey.

The Reds now have nothing to show for dealing Casey away.

The point is that it *should* shock you if you really thought this was a World Series team.

Pierzynski said afterwords that he was trying to step around Barrett to grab his helmet and after watching the replay I can't say I disagree one bit.  Sometimes players make excuses afterwords but in this case it really looked like he trying going around Barrett and pick up his helmet. 

Why he got ejected is beyond me because it seemed clear that he didn't even start the confrontation.  Barrett got up, grabbed him and then punched him. 

Still, props to Barrett for throwing a manly punch. 

So now the Twins, Angels and Cubs all hate AJ. Good. Those bitch-arse teams aren't fit to polish the Sox's trophy.
