Don't worry, Nunez is here to save the day.

so is madson..   :paranoid

Come on, that first deep fly to the center field warning track didn't worry me a bit.

Not even a little.

Nope.

And neither did the one to the fence in right.  :paranoid :puke

in CBP the games now 3-2, if not 4-2 brewers.

i'm pretty sure the sweaty palms, and extreme nervousness i get when madson takes the mound isn't a good thing.

he needs to get the flu bug thats been going around the club house, he can't get any worse command wise.

MDS

we suck against lhp. pitching has been superb to keep us in games...offense has just been doing enough to get wins.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Excellent play all around there.  Great throw by Burrell (barehand and throw in one motion) and GREAT block of home by Fasano.

Looks bad for Hardy, though.  Hopefully the ankle is just twisted and not broken.

pat burrell has been a whole lot of nothing spectacular this year so far.
Did you just see that perfect game saving throw from Right? He's also 6th (or 7th) in the league in HRs.

And another Phillies reliever manages to get through the inning unscathed.

My heartburn, though...

I watch on DirecTV, so I get the "outsider" perspective ALL THE FREAKING TIME.

What I wouldn't give for a few games with the rich, baritone voice of one Harry Kalas...

When the Phillies play at CBP you don't get Kalas, etc.? I get them for all the Phils home games on MLB TV, but none of the away games.

Wow. Fasano sure does suck as a hitter, but he is lights out at the dish.

Brewers outfielder Hall is a Hoyda, if that were Rowand he'd of run through the wall and made the catch.

SD, the funny thing is just before that hit to Hall, the Brewers' crew did an interview with him about Rowand's catch. Guy said something to the affect of "That's what the good ones do..." refering to good outfielders. Way to follow up dude. Love when he flopped in the dirt. Was a hard catch, but I still chuckled. Rowand would catch those kind of hits all day... :-o

Aaron Rowand eats pieces of shtein like Hall for breakfast.

Burrell doesn't have great range but he does have a great arm.

I've had Extra Innings since 1999, and have never seen Kalas and co.  I even fired off some e-mails in the early going, but Comcast blamed DirecTV, DirecTV blamed Comcast.

Thing that gets me:  Comcast shows the Orioles and the Cubs games in those markets.  But not Philly.  :boom

Jesus. Look at Turnbow's farging haircut. Looks like the kind of guy that still sleeps on his mother's couch. That thing is on the fringe of Navy regs. Get a haircut hippy!

For a few bucks, you can get audio only on MLB.com. Then you can have Kalas and the crew.

Victorino is one of the smartest, and fastest base runners I've seen in a long, long time. Amazes me how when he is whistling around the bases he can find the ball and diagnose plays at that speed.

Bell has a chance to make a difference against former Phil Derrick Turnbow.

yeah i saw it.  i also saw his 3rd strike out of the game to lead off the inning.

i didn't say he's been terrible, but he hasn't been very un clutch along with most of the other hitting this year.
