Let me put it this way... if you live in the Delaware Valley and weren't otherwise engaged last night, then you have no reason to bitch and moan about opposing fans being at the game.

They're simply buying tickets that you're not using yourself.

i guess i speak for myself when i saw that it makes me literally nauseous to go to my teams games and be overwhelmed with opposing fans....just as i love it when a philly team doesn it i hate it that much more when it happens in philly...and there basically is nothing you can do about it (except more phillie fans buy tickets) but it doesnt make it any less painful to watch...especially when you have mostly mets fans right behind the plate and have to watch them all friggin game long on tv

i agree...but even worse is the philly season ticket holders dumping their tickets to highest mets bidder....behind the mets dugout (and in general that whole side of the lower level) was insane with mets fasn last night and all those seats are season tickets

i could care less...as i refuse to ever give this team a dime until the philosophy and ownership changes.

you think the phils brass cares that the stadium was filled with mets fans? no. all they care about was that the seats were filled.

it's the same for the upcoming boston series, and yankee series. they are just happy for the tickets being sold, they don't care to who

i cant stand the boston and yankees doing it either...but theres something seriously wrong when your rival who youre battling for the division brings in 1/3 of the stadium...unacceptable

I understand your sick feeling IGY--you hate to see blue hats and shirts on the TV screen-as do i with any opposing team, but expect NY to be there. They are an 1hr away its a pretty big state the last time I checked--with just as much passion as Philly fans. Whichever state is the closest for any ball park, you get more of the opposing team.

They cant control who comes to the game, especially Mets fans who have a legitimate shot at winning. If we were a stud team, expect ticket sales and attendance to be in Phillys favor.

Attendance was around 33,000+?? Not bad--getting up there

The Phils fans do it up at Shea too. But I agree, I hate it when I see the stadium filled with losers from Queens.

Anyways, enough about the Mets fans. F the bums.

No thoughts on Hamels possibly coming up Friday?

not just on the road but in that launching pad....i beleive cincy is the number one hr hitters park by quite a bit

where did you hear it was definite? also did you hear the moves they made to make it happen? ie Madsen to the bullpen?
