Scrounging the bargain bin?

I also saw "Fun with Dick and Jane" (the Jim Carrey version, which was cute), The Constant Gardener (very slow and depressing, but somewhat interesting), The Corpse Bride (yawn), and "A History of Violence" (pretty decent). The weather sucked, and it was a movie-watching weekend instead of doing yard work.

bargin bin? ha. my boy down the hall has a stock pile of dvds. next on the rundown: american history x (seen most of it, never in one sitting), schindlers list (jew jokes galore) and full metal jacket.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Haha...okay. I actually have a copy of FMJ that my daughter bought me. I haven't really watched it yet, though (although I saw it a while ago).

Wingspan

saw High Tension last night. it was pretty good, and fairly tense throughout the whole thing, i thought the revelation at the end was a little on the cheese side, but overall good film if you like gore and suspense.

Saw Crash last night and thought it was very good.   :yay

An American Haunting. No Eagle heads. Thought about killing myself afterwards. Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek should be ashamed of themselves. Even worse than The Ring Two.

Swing Kids - Kinda dumb but not bad.  Watching a teeenaged Christian Bale dance like a douchebag was fun.

V for Vendetta - Pretty awesome.  I want Natalie Portman to rub her bald head against my sack.

Zanshin

Saw Constantine over the weekend.  It wasn't nearly as bad as some folks on here made it out to be.  Sort of light and entertaining; lived up to the previews.  Anyone who expected more than that must have had some seriously unrealistic expectations for a Keanu Reeves movie based on a comic book.

Chopper - awesome flick. 4/5

Cheers Big Ears!

haha, oh man.  that part was sick.

Have you seen the DVD when Eric Bana and the director actually visit Chopper Read at his farm in Tasmania? It is almost worth renting it for that alone.

Hostel-  :cfhead :cfhead 1/2  -  good enough to keep interest, but not nearly as awesome as it was hyped to be.

Susquehanna Birder

I have no interest in seeing Hostel, Saw II, or anything like that. I like suspense and some of the horror genre, but gore for the sake of gore does nothing for me.
