I agree.  Gore as a scare tactic makes for a lame movie.

I prefer gore to be used for comedy only, like the Evil Dead trilogy.

MadMarchHare

It might be a stretch to call Evil Dead gory, but I agree with the point entirely.
Gross isn't very entertaining.

Cool Xmen 3 clip. The Sentinels made it into this flick, sweet.

That looks hot as hell.  :yay

That was cool of them to work that into the movie because Colossus using Wolverine as a projectile happens pretty often.

Finally watched "The Insider".  Last movie Pacino didn't completely mail in, I think.  Crowe's best performance by far (yes, even better than some of the more heralded ones).  Manages to keep you enthralled for 2 1/2 hours.

But the only eye candy in the whole movie was Gina Gershon, and she was an annoying lawyer bitch.. and didn't get at all naked.  Boo.  You'd think that in 2 1/2 hours, you could at least have some sex appeal.  Boo.

Seriously, though... solid 4/5.

I want to see Flight 93 as well. If anyone saw it, please post your experience.

I'm not quite ready for this yet.  I stood on the courtyard at Georgetown University watching the Pentagon burn, unable to reach my only sibling who worked two blocks from the Trade Center.
