Other than Madison, what have the Giants done?

Added Burress, Pierce, and McKenzie last season while we added McMahon. They also made the playoffs last season and don't have the available cap space we have.

...and they scored as many points in the playoffs as the Eagles did.

This offseason they added Sam Madison (nice move), R.W. McQuarters (he stinks) and Will Demps (how good is he away from Baltimore?), but they haven't fixed their LB holes, they haven't replaced Clancy, and they haven't done anything to improve their offense...

Claiborne was a pretty good SLB in Minnesota and Detroit before moving to Mike in STL.

I wonder what OG they would trade for? Does that mean no Runyan and Andrews goes to RT? Not sure I like that

Claiborne has also been known to let his weight balloon to 270+.  Bad for needed mobility.

As for possible trade of OG, I'd hope it would be a LG.  No matter how much mobility Andrews has gained after a full season and a healthy off-season, moving him to RT creates WAY too many questions about the interior of the line.  Hopefully, they're looking for a LG and will re-sign Runyan.  HOPEFULLY.

Let's see.
Diggs has 21 career PDs, 4 ints and 7 sacks.
HH has 4 career PDs, 1 int and 3.5 sacks.
Short has 10 career PDs, 2 ints and 7.5 sacks.

Claiborne has made some plays in his career but has also had injuries last year had a whopping .5 sacks, 0 ints and 0 PDs.

They all suck.

And Carlos Emmons has 28 career PDs, 5 INTs and 18 sacks. (in 10 years).

Does he suck too?

Will Demps sucked in Baltimore too. They wanted him gone.

The SAM might be the least sexy position in Jim Johnson's defense.  They are usually stuck in a zone or on the tight end, and blitz less than even the corners.  But the tight ends in our division are good, and we need a SAM that can actually cover them.  Dhani can't.  Claiborne can't.  Short can't.

Hillenmeyer and Diggs are semi-OK options.  We'll see.

they were 2nd in the nfc in total offense...there's not much to improve but another year of experience for eli will probably help...and i heard they might be signing meshawn.
lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

And if Bobby Carpenter is there in round 2, take him. He'd be better than Dhani and I say that knowing he hasn't even begun his NFL career yet

And they aren't sitting on $20 + million worth of cap space either.

You guys worry about this shtein 24/7, don't you?

:-D :-D

No, but it pisses me off when I see players we could have had (Bernard, Givens) at a reasonable price sign elsewhere while we sit on our hands and say "wait till the draft".

Givens at a resonable price?? His market value and Randel El's were insane for 3rd or 4th receiving options. Why is it so hard to see that? Why pay top $$ for mediocre receivers when we have 4 of them??  You guys are reaching for answers at the WR spot when there are none out there (except of course Walker or Moulds).

Eagles defensively though..wheeew...no comment!

I would love to grab Carpenter in the 2nd, but he'll be gone.

Carlos Emmons was a steady player on an excellent defense. He wasn't and isn't a star or a stud. This team needs an upgrade.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

SunMo

the SAM will never have great playmaking stats, because they spend their time covering the TE.  the WIL is the one that needs to be the playmaker, and the Eagles' WIL is 149 years old
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

5 years $24 million is not unreasonable for Givens, you overpay in free agency and I thought the Titans got him at a good price. Givens is not a #3 or #4, he's a legitimate #2.

All the more reason to trade down, and get another first day pick.
Anyone but Reid.
