Next we'll see a "Here's why Arrington won't be an Eagle" thread.

Let's not get carried away, now.

No wonder the Eagles haven't brought him in.

6 million a year? Wow. That's more than howard.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

SunMo

well, if you want a linebacker that actually does, you know, linebacker things, you have to open those tight little purse strings
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

I like my linebackers to just kind of stand around and fill space, so Dhani's my guy.

hunt

sal pal was just on dnl & said the eagles have pretty much come to the conclusion that dhani isn't the guy...he said trotter even told him so.
also said that arrington's agent (who is also peterson's agent) did speak with the eagles but wasn't sure how serious the eagles were in signing either of them.
i have a feeling they'll sign peterson.
lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

i have a feeling they'll sign peterson.

I prefer a disciplined guy who can shut down opposing TE's like Peterson over a free lancing freak like Arrington who comes up with the occassional big play. (Disclaimer: I'd be elated if we signed either)

Bingo bingo bingo.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

This team is infuriating.  If they had won that god damned Super Bowl, I wouldn't care as much about the zesty management.  But they didn't win that game..and they're acting like they did.  Ain't no big thing to them, letting all the best talent sign elsewhere while they sit on a pile of money.   :boom

I have a feeling they'll address the position with a 2nd day pick of some white kid.

Seahawks | Team reaches agreement with Peterson
Mon, 20 Mar 2006 20:56:05 -0800

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Seattle Seahawks have reached an agreement with free agent LB Julian Peterson to a seven-year contract worth $54 million. The deal includes $18.5 million in guarantees, including $10 million for the 2006 season.

and then there was one...(Arrington)

Totally ridiculous contract by the way. He is not worth that kind of money.

I can't believe they are paying this guy that much money. Cripes, how much will Arrington demand now?  :o

Here's a hint...

PoopyfaceMcGee

The chances the Eagles sign Arrington are about as good as the chances of them finding a way to acquire D'Brickashaw Ferguson or Mario Williams in the draft this year... roughly 1/5000.
