So basically they are just clauses added to save money from year to year on a person's contract?
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Yes.

Munson

Heh, Deck your puss.

IGY, you call Vermielshtein a God and in the same thread talk about how much you wanted Simon back?

eesh...  :paranoid

Don't they do those LTBE and Unlikely things on a lot of contracts? Isn't that the "loophole" they've been said to found?

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

General_Failure

Yep. It's been Banner's bread and butter for years.

QuoteI'm very disappointed in that. I expect better from you.

What on Earth would cause you to expect better from this mongoloid?

I expect a royalty for that snapz!.

now imagine if they draft bunkley and then cut hollis just because they dont wanna pay him this year and maybe youll finally see why i was so angry over corey last year

Hollis is making $670K this year. He wants more money (has since before last year) and he has asked to be traded the last two years.

Its time to move on. Sign another veteran run stuffing DT to do Hollis' job and draft Bunkley.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Bunkley could very well be gone at #14.  I heart putting all the eggs in one basket!

PhillyPhreak54

There's more than just Bunkley at DT.

But if they want him - they will trade up to get him. Or Ngata.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Good.  Those 2nd and 3rd rounders didn't really help us last year, either.

PhillyPhreak54

So you'd be opposed to trading up for Bunkley?

If they traded up to get him it would only be about 2-3 spots. Get to #11 or #12...ahead of BAL.

hunt

the more i look at the current depth chart, the more i think they have to go DT with the 1st pick...it's probably the only position where a rookie would get significant playing time.

I'd be severely opposed to using the 2nd rounder to move up, which means they're probably looking at giving up the 3rd and a 4th to move up that far.  My problem is that you throw all that for Bunkley, and you have to be really careful how you use him, because he has some injury history and he will be a rookie.

Also, I don't think his collegiate performance makes him worth any higher than the 14th pick... so it means the Eagles are moving up to fill a need, which I hate.  Considering all the depth problems across the board, I'd ALMOST rather they stay put and trade down if both Ngata and Bunkley are gone... they could grab a guy like Wroten or Watson and acquire another 1st day pick to fill some extra needs... like an MLB to groom under Trotter and a Safety to groom under Dawkins.

rjs246

STOP MAKING SENSE, FF! Seriously. Cut it out.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Good point.

Nevermind!  I love the idea of trading up for Bunkley!  The Eagles are *fine* with depth across the board!

Rome

According to this, the Eagles should only have to trade their pick and a third to move up two spots.
