Great... Dave is all about Thomas Tapeh and has said that the Howard signing will probably be the biggest signing of the off-season.

I simply can't understand why they wouldn't give Howard more of his signing bonus as a roster bonus if they didn't plan on making a lot of other big moves.  Makes zero sense.

SunMo

Dave's comments from before....

Quote"I've come to this series of conclusions: 1) The Eagles weren't kidding when they said they liked this roster; 2) They aren't particularly impressed with this crop of free-agent talent; 3) They believe they have time to add to the team before the draft; 4) They clearly aren't as stressed about the wide receiver position as so many of you are and; 5) If they can land Howard, the Eagles may not dip much deeper into free agency."
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

did I hear correctly on WIP?  we resigned Reno???  even I can't imagine that...well maybe it can, BYU connection, plus he's  Andy's personal server at Chickie n' Pete's :P

I can't believe that Mahe's biggest fan is upset over this trivial transaction.  ???
it's just the jersey is showing it's wear...probably from all the crap it takes.

Not sure, but Beasley and Mack Strong are still out there.

I'd go in and steal Strong and Bernard while Seattle tries to make room for Hutchinson.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.

I agree IGY, but after the Howard signing I'm willing to wait a few days before calling for their heads again.

But if Dave was right when he said this was THE big signing, then I'll be all over them until next march.

On the Eagles site, this paragraph about Schobel stood out:

QuoteNicknamed "The Schoboat," Schobel is known as a precise route runner and has experience as a holder on field goal attempts

I wish Koy the best of luck.

According to Eskin - yeah, I know... Garcia will be in town wednesday, and from talking to people he thinks there's a good chance Runyan is back.

I'm glad Garcia thinks Runyan will be back.
