That's an excellent analogy.  Chris does a lot more of the research.  Only, Dave's ear is probably closer to "inside" information than Cheney's is.

I know you guys want to see the Eagles add a receiver. I don't know anything 100 percent, but I think the Eagles will add a receiver (not one who suited up in 2005). I got that feeling.

If Schobel is signed...that's one more need the Eagles can eliminate.

I sure hope they sign Darren Howard though. He would be a nice addition...

Sure, but that guy or another similar player would only supplant McMullen on the depth chart and give them more options for the future.  They need a guy who can come in and start opposite Brown now.

Mike Reiss, of the Boston Globe, reports agent Brad Blank said a Houston Chronicle report saying free agent WR David Givens (Patriots) has re-signed with the New England Patriots was erroneous. Blank said "anything is possible" at this stage. This is the second erroneous report this weekend involving a Givens signing.
