The only thing that I can see that makes any sense is they have a guy that knows the system, will come on the cheap, and has enough knowledge to help McCoy (who I think will suck if he plays at all this year anyway), and any new rookies they acquire in the draft. I think a lot of us are starved for something to happen, and people are getting pissed about this supposed role prematurely. I can't believe as horrible as the LBs were last year, that the FO wouldn't take a more aggresive aproach to fix the position.

All that being said, our starting LBs will most likely be Barber, Dhani, and Trotter with McCoy sliding in there at some point. farging shtein.
