Philadelphia is expected to have an interest in Anderson.

After reading the numerous "Eagles are interested in....." articles these past weeks, I have to wonder whether any of them are based on new facts or just incestuously derived from the speculation of other media members.

While the Bentley story has some legs, others seem to just be copied from other sources. For example, I've only seen mention of the Eagles interest in Anderson in a USAToday article (I could be wrong) that basically just listed about 8 FA's who'd fit what the Eagles needs are. Next day, I saw that evolve into "The Eagles are after Mike Anderson". These articles get the taters all jacked up & when the outcome isn't what they want, they go into a anti-FO seizure.

While I would be happy as shtein for the Birds to add Anderson, it's just like the deal with Glover. If the Birds had a serious interest, they could just go after him, he was cut, and the FA rules don't apply. I don't think Anderson is coming here unfortunately.

While I would be happy as shtein for the Birds to add Anderson, it's just like the deal with Glover. If the Birds had a serious interest, they could just go after him, he was cut, and the FA rules don't apply. I don't think Anderson is coming here unfortunately.

That's a good point.  But on the other hand... the fact that Anderson's still out there can't mean that NO ONE is interested in him can it?

its not the based on facts part...

all this pre FA stuff is garbage...i dont know why people get so excited over it...ill admit i was somewhat taken by the bently story at first...but 99.9% of the time i dont even blink until a player comes for a novacare visit

i'd rather haver bernard because they desperately need someone to go after the QB up the middle, that way teams can't concentrate on just the ends
