Just wanted to see what aspirations you all had when you were little....you know...when they asked you what you wanted to do when you 'grew up'. Before reality, laziness and having no direction set in...I used to want to be an Astronaut. I also wanted to be an Air Force Pilot. Rich & Famous is too general...but those two are answers I would give people as a kid. Little did I know I was going to grow up to be a half ass.

Anyways...what did you want to do before you gave up(or got her pregnant?)

The man. The myth. The legend.

When I was a kid I wanted to grow up to teach corporate corksuckers how to make purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, goods receipts, deliveries, and other fascinating business documents, hopefully by using an incredibly non-intuitive german software.

I just knew I was going to be a math teacher.  I'm a math geek, and I think I have the patience to teach.

Then I took calculus in 12th grade, and got an F in 3 out of 4 semesters.  That changed my life.  Joined the USAF, got trained in networking (WAN side, not LAN and servers and that stuff), got out, and got a decent job in fiber networking.  Now I help sell that shtein, and I feel pretty good about how it all turned out.

Look kids -- getting an F in math is about the best thing that can happen to you!

I got hurt so much that I started to know how todiagnose myself before I even went to the Doc. Then I realized that you couldn't be a slacker in school and had to go to college for 38 years and I lost interest quickly.

Hmmm...

Apart from the teenage things like fireman, pilot and such (ended when I got glasses), I wanted to be a civil engineer. This dream ended after a 5 year struggle when it was found out I have ADD, with Dyslexia as one of its components. Basically I can not trust my own calculations and the fcat that repeated failure much of my motovation had vanished.

Right now it is becoming a historian, get my PhD and arguably end up either in research or as a professor at a university.

With Timmy, one of three things is going to happen. Somebody is going to get hurt - it's either going to be him, an opponent, or one of our players.

I was decent until the age of 13, that's when laziness and lack of caring for school work kicked in.

I tell my students all the time that I would have played pro baseball, except for one thing.

Lack of talent.

Not sure if that was intentional or not, but it made me smirk....
