When I was out of work a few years ago, I went to the movies by myself during the day a few times.  It was great.  Had the place to myself, most of the time.

If you go to movies like Baby Geniuses 2, it doesn't matter what time of the day it is.  The theater is all yours.

Brokeback Mountain.  :cfhead :cfhead
Overrated beyond belief. Jake Gylenhall is good, which lifts it above one Igglehead, but that's about it. Surely Heath Ledger should at least give the impression he enjoyed being bum-farged by Gylenhall. My chick flatmate thought it was ace - the silly cow - and remarked that the cinema was the quietest she'd ever been in during a movie. I pointed out this was probably because yer average Brit wouldn't have a clue what the tobacco-chewing, mumbling Cowboy Ledger was saying.

The wife and I watched 30 minutes of "Constant Gardener" last night and couldn't stay awake.  She said the book did a much better job of ensnaring the reader quite early.  I'm sure the movie is good, but I don't always have the attention span for a "good" movie if it's boring.

My wife passed out about halfway through it. Believing it had to get better, I stayed up for the final hour. Beating myself in the face with a shovel would have been more fun. What a shteinter.  :boo :boo :boo

Also, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was the shtein. If you haven't seen it, you should be yourself in the face with a shovel.

Finally saw The Island. Much better than rjs' pass of a review. Interesting, and that chase scene was pretty cool.

Vinnie Jones is the man! He is from my hometown and my friend used to work with his sister. She is a nutcase too!

Jesus Christ, man. Some of you freaks have the worst taste in movies.

BTW, Lock Stock is a fantastic movie.
