So did you see this movie by yourself or with friends?

Only freaks go to movies by themselves, freak.

wait, i thought you were talking about brokeback mountain.

and i only go to the movies by myself when i take a day off from work and am bored during the day.  which is quite often.

MadMarchHare

I go to see movies alone because my wife, by default, automatically hates anything I might be interested in.  Hard to agree on a movie within that framework.
Anyone but Reid.

Wingspan

i live about 6 blocks from a theatre. and i get more holidays off from work than my wife does, so when i have a day to myself, i'll go to the movies alone. sometimes i prefer it, hell you shouldnt talk to someone in a theater anyway, this way, i am sure to get both armrests.

i agree, i remember the first time i went by myself on a day off, i felt a little weird, but now i don't even think twice.  no one talking and making you miss the movie.  hell, i'm my favorite person to hang out with anyway.  one thing is that i won't see comedies alone, because they're more fun when you have friends to laugh with, but dramas i'm all for.

Henchman--three guesses as to what the wife dragged me to see recently.

I'm guessing Brokeback! I am seeing it tonight. BTW, saw King Kong at Cineworld in Wandsworth, VIP seats. A highly recommended experience. 9 quid Mon-Thu, 11 quid Fri-Sun.

I go on my own when the transport system in London fargs up and I can't handle rush hour. Usually that's four times a week.

i cant believe it sucks ass...the reviews for it have been to good...at the same time i dont have any pre concived notions about it being the best movie of the year or anything...i think it will be a 4/5 star

ice grillin you

Hope you realize he directed Match Point

i thought it went without saying that match point is not a typical woody allen film

Not true. Its very different for a Woody Allen movie. Doesn't follow his form at all.

It still sucked.

i don't think i ever went to a movie by myself, but i would do it.  whats the big deal, your there for entertainment, not who your there with and conversation.  hell ive gone to concerts by myself.  i can't stand motherfargers who go to concerts and talk during the show.  i feel like smashing my glass drink into there faces, even if it is a hot chick.  shut the hell up.  maybe thats just the anti-social person in me.

constant gardener...has me constantly thinking that bitch was an evil slut. i guess she wasn't.  it was a decent movie.  3.5/5
