Rome

Cris Carter had off-the-field problems out the kazoo but he went on to a HOF career.

Same goes for Jimmy Smith.

There's two ex-Eagles going to the HOF.  Just once, I'd like the Eagles to take a chance on one of these guys with phenomenal talent and questionable character and have it work in their favor.

Wishful thinking, I suppose.

i totally agree...but it would be a long shot for andy to go after someone like that under normal circumstances...after the TO thing you can pretty much cross all non choir boys off the wish list
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

The BIGSTUD

Moulds, Wayne, Jurevicius, Bryant. In that order.

I don't want Randle El. He has the fumbles and drops balls. I like his speed, but I'm not sold on him yet. Give me Moulds first. I don't think Wayne will be worth the money he gets, but I also think he's better than Price... a lot better. I doubt he'd be a bust, but he won't put up TO numbers thats for sure.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Can we all just agree that Wayne isn't going to happen and take him out of this conversation?
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

The BIGSTUD

I don't know about that. What if the Eagles really like him? If they do I'd see no reason why they wouldn't target him.

We can stop pretending Moulds is an option too. I wanted Jurevicious when he went to Tampa, and I don't think we're getting him now.

The man. The myth. The legend.

He'll cost a ton and Indy, if they're smart, should try to hang on to him even at the expense of Harrison if necessary. But carry on if you must.

My list:
Moulds, (Wayne), Randle-El, Bryant, Jurevicius

MURP

then just exchange Wayne and Harrison.

My rankings...because you care.

1. Eric Moulds
2. Antwaan Randle-El
3. Reggie Wayne
4. Kevin Curtis
5. Joe Jurevicius

The only reason Wayne is #3 is because, as I've said before I don't know what he can do sans Peyton, Harrison & Edge. Plus, I would like the Eagles to not spend $40M on a WR who we don't know if he can man up and be a 1. We need defensive help.

I would also LOVE to add David Tyree from the Giants. That guy is a monster on ST units. He wouldn't be in the WR mix, but think Dameane Douglas times 50 as a ST demon.

White WR's make me nervous.  Plus, the Rams will put a high tender on Curtis, as Bruce is aging.

I'm still not, nor will I ever be sold on Randle El as a starting WR on the Eagles.  Not with the current crop of recievers we have to choose from.  Randle El seems to be a capable #2 although I think he's best suited at #3 and the Eagles have #3 recievers in bunches.  Now if Randle El were starting opposite TO or a player of similar caliber, then yes.  But we've already got that with Reggie Brown and/or Pinkston.

He would make a great addition to the return game but not at the price tag he's going to come with.

I thought the same thing when I saw Tyree's name on IGY's list...the man tears it up on ST, and would be a GREAT addition, if he came at a relatively reasonable price. Been a while since we stole someone good from the Giants...

Curtis' numbers were so good during Bruce's absence this season, I hadn't noticed he was a Caucasian until FF mentioned that earlier in this thread...   :paranoid

Tyree is a might fine ST player.  Didn't he have a pretty huge game (recieving) against the Eagles at the Linc back in 2003?
