Thats the word in Minn. So what do we do after losing not one but three coaches.

Wow. That would cause a lot of disruption for the Eagles, especially if JJ is entertaining offers. Something tells me that Childress will end up in Green Bay rather than Minnesota, however.

It would suck to lose Castillo. I guess after ten years, give or take, it's time for him to move on.

Some new blood would be a good thing for this bunch at this point.

I'm only worried about Castillo. He seems to be one of the very few good position coaches we have. Sure, it took him years to get a suitable center in there, but every coach has his weaknesses.

More the special teams coach.   He's young and IMO has done a really good job over the years.
There's something about consistancy in the coaching ranks that you can't put a value on but none the less is important.

If Castillo and Harbaugh go w/ Childress, is this to become OC and DC, or will it be lateral?  If it's lateral, it begs the question:  why are they more loyal to Childress than Reid?
Anyone but Reid.

QB Eagles

It's the old devil you know vs. the devil you don't know question. Those guys are adequate and there's no guarantee you'll get an adequate guy stepping up in his place. Maybe they'd all be replaced by better coaches. Maybe they'd all be replaced with worse. I think it'll be a busy offseason for personnel changes, both on the field and off. Doesn't seem like it'll be like the previous few years when we were just plugging a couple key needs each offseason into an already functioning system. The good part about that is the team needs a lot of work. The bad part is the more changes you make the bigger the chance that at least one of them will be a disaster.

And can you say that this would have happened after last year?

I thought if you were under contract, you couldn't make a lateral move. Is that accurate?
