It certainly appears to me like Reid is trying to "win games" and "put his best people out there" rather than evaluate the depth of the roster.
Anyone but Reid.

Gordan has been disappointing. When the Eagles signed him, I was sure he'd be more productive even with the limited opportunity.

I've actually been impressed with McMullen the past couple of games. In previous years, it seems he was a lot more prone to dropping the ball whereas this year he has actually made some fairly impressive catches.

Say what you will about Brown, but I think he's done a hell of a job. I'm not trying to sound like Reid, but I find it hard to believe that these guys wouldn't be even more productive if McNabb was still starting.

Fair enough.  Would you not then agree that Moats, even at this embryonic stage of his career, is a better option than Gordon & Mahe?

MadMarchHare

I would, that part I can't figure out.  I was more addressing why we have more Greggie and less MushMouth.
Anyone but Reid.

I want to see more screen passes to Moats...

Reno averaged 4.5 yards a carry. What do you people want from him?

The man. The myth. The legend.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Shoot...I just want to see a screen pass to Moats. Has he even run a screen yet? He'd be deadly in space.

Like I said yesterday....run/throw it to Moats to death these final games. Who cares if his protection gets McMahon killed? That would help us.

Since you love it so much:

QuoteI'm sorry I haven't written in the last few days, but I'm on a mission. I'm trying to keep doing well and be consistently effective. Once I get the hang of it and I get used to the way I do things, then everything else will come easier. Next year will be easier.

I'm trying to find time to take the offensive line out to eat, try and take them to Dave and Buster's. These guys have lives so it's hard to find the time. I have to find the date. I want to take those guys out. I'm trying to get a connection with the line. I want to have a relationship with the line.

The better you know people the more comfortable it is to work with them. I had a great relationship with my offensive line in college. They were my best friends. My favorite part of football was growing the relationships with each other.

My freshman year I did have a hard time fitting in. There were a few fights, but the people I fought with I became friends with. When you come in as rookie or a freshman, you have to prove you're tough and that you belong. I think that's how it is. I'm cool with a lot of guys I came in with, but in the NFL you might not be with them for long. That's the sad part about it.

I feel good about the win Sunday.  You don't know how many carries you are going to get so you have to treat each one like that could be the last one. That's how I feel. There's three backs. There are only going to be so many carries for each of us. It's going to be spread out so you have to take those carries and make the most of them. You may not get 20 carries a game.

You know what? I don't even know what happened on the touchdown. I just run. It's like running from a dog. Not so much running scared, but with heightened senses.

The success feels good, but with that comes expectations. In my mind, I'm just trying to stay consistent. That's what I try to think about. Not everyone wanting to talk to me. I have a couple of appearances I'm doing tonight in fact. I just want to keep my head on a straight line.

I might not have played a lot until now, but I prepared every week like I was going to play. I had a lot of help from Coach Shuey and he would prepare me like I was going to play. With that help and coming out before games and putting myself in the game plan, even though I wasn't playing, running plays that they were going to run and put myself in the situation as the game goes on I'm on the sidelines listening to the play and imagining what I would do in that situation.

I kept myself in the game and I would use all the tools that I could to stay on top of it. I don't think the big difference between the college and the NFL is the speed, it's the intelligence level that every player has.

Yeah, you know, you don't really care where you're running as long as it's away...
