I think I am the only Wilbur fan on this planet other than the McMullen family.

I'm with you Phreak i love the way he catches the ball with pure hands unlike the body catches of some other receivers

I'll knock 'em. With the exception of a handful of plays the defense was walked all over again. There's 8 starters gone from the offense, and the god damned defense still manages to be the weak link.

They picked Manning off 3 times late and held a very potent offense to 23 games in regulation, they could have been better but they kept us in the game.

That's great, right after they did their best to get the team out of the game.

This is what bothered me most about the Defense.  Gotta be able to get off the farging field.

But....but ...you can't question the defense, McNabb can't be blamed for that.  >:(

Offenses ability to pick up 3rd and longs has been our D's downfall this season. I blame it solely on the non-existant pass rush.

They did play tough......tougher than they have in the last few weeks.  So I do give them some credit for that, especially after a very humiliating performance on Monday.  I'm not complaining about the effort at all.  However, some of the problems this team has had this year were creating turnovers and stopping teams in the red zone.  They did both of those things late in the game today and still found a way to blow it and that's a (lot) little disheartening.

Even though the Eagles were officially eliminated for playoff contention today, I think most of us came to that realization several weeks ago.  But even though the season's pretty much over there's still something this team has to play for.  Heading into today's game, they had 2 chances to win a division game.  They didn't get it done today.  So now their only shot is the season finale against the Skins.

That's all I really want to see this year.  1 win in the division.  I don't care how bad this team is.  I don't care about injuries.  I don't care about disgruntled receivers, Madden curses or any of that.  If this team goes 0 for the division then heads need to roll.  Even the 98 Eagles managed to win a game inside the division.  Going 0 for is inexcusable.

Did I miss the comments about the front 4's great play?

Cole is a very good run stopper.. outside of that....

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

does anybody else feel that the fact that Reno Mahe was able to run on the Giants lessens the effect of Ryan Moats' game?  :-D
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

I understand the frustration with Mahe..he excells at nothing buy does many things marginnally well..he will be gone soon enough..probably a great coach someday ;)

General_Failure

If Reno and the scout team are able to do that to the Giants I can't imagine what a playoff team will do to them.

I imagine Mahe was in there more often because Reid sees him as better in passing situations
