That's what happens when you lose a yearly Pro-Bowl QB and enter in a career 2-7 QB.

The Eagles have been lucky the past couple years that DMac stayed healthy..they should of had a "quality backup" QB a long tome ago with all the cap room they've had.  Instead huge amounts of cap space went unused and they/we finally paid for it this year    It wasn't just DMac, "He who must be named" and a general lack of quality WR's ( for a passing offense) didn't help.  Defensive problem's eventually created the "perfect storm of fargin shtein" and the wheel came off.. IMO

What do you consider a backup that you'd go out and spend a bunch of cap money on?    Please name me a few.

And the WRs were the same as last year going into the season with the ADDITION of Reggie Brown. What exactly did you expect them to do in the offseason? Pinkston went down for the season and TO went idiot.

He was not there..  From what I have seen - the other 4 years the group was out there.
He thought - like a lot of others.
This was Philly's year
Super Bowl.....
