Do you ever see them announce that the surgery didn't go well?  Great, he had the surgery.  We'll see how well it went once he's back on the field.  Until then, I don't believe any of this "it went great" nonsense.

Well, the good news is they didn't find a tumor the size of a basketball in his abdomen, and just let him drift away under anaesthesia.....so we got that going for us.

Yes, dio...that has happened. If they opened him up and saw something else that needed to be repaired or something that was more badly damaged than initially thought.

In which case, they invariably say "we found something more than what we thought we would, but we handled it all just great and he's going to be swell."
