This defense is better than the '94 team's.  That offense was nearly unstoppable, though.

that's not saying much, the '94 defense was on the bad side of average.  that was the only reason that Nebraska jumped them in the polls, because JoPa wouldn't run it up late and the poor defense allowed teams to come back and make the score look closer than it should've been.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Miami's about to lose, so things are about to get complicated. At least we won't have to worry about HFA for our BCS bowl.  :yay

Awesome...Miami/GT is a final.  The U goes down in flames!!  Hahaha!!

Oh man...if farging USC would get upset by Fresno State, we could see Penn State playing for the National Championship.  How sweet would that be?!

USC down 14-7 right now.

Power in my neighborhood goes out, PSU is in possible contention for a National Championship. Power comes back on, USC is annihilating Fresno State  :boo

So i guess LSU is the likely opponent?  What bowl game?  Still the Orange Bowl?

What he said.

So, while it is still pretty improbable, Penn State has a long shot at playing for the National Championship.

1)  Do you think Penn State could beat USC or Texas?
2)  If 1 is no, would you still want them to play in the championship game, knowing they would probably lose?
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Of course you want them to play in the NC game.  There is a chance they pull a Dallas vs Eagles and shock everyone.

That USC game was great.  I hope Reggie doesn't end up in the NFC....

Seriously. That's like saying, "Well, you knew the Patriots were the better team and would probably win, so do you wish the Eagles hadn't made it to the superbowl?" Idiotic.

I think they could beat Texas on any given day.  USC, however, is on a entirely different level than anyone else in college football.  That being said if they played the way they did agaisnt Fresno PSU could beat them.

Ok, let me change it slightly - consider just the outcome, would you rather lose the NC game, or win one of the other BCS bowls?
