Mickey Spagnola, of DallasCowboys.com, reports the Dallas Cowboys signed free agent LB Quinton Caver (Chiefs).

:-D :-D

PhillyGirl

I'm sure he'll offer MUCH insight to the defense of the Eagles.

Wasn't he cut for being dumb as a stump?  :-D

I think calling him dumb would be a compliment.

He was a good ST player in KC though. Too bad the loser couldn't play STs here, goddamn bum.

Remember that OT loss to the Rams in 2001 (coincidentally Fraley's first start) when the knucklehead tried to pick up the KO fumble on the 6 yard line and run it in instead of falling on it? Yeah, the Rams went on to win.

The 2nd most infuriating play in my 18 years as an Eagles fan.  :boom

It was a need for depth after Singleton went down as well as his STs play. Not many Dallas fans doing cartwheels, much like you signing Cortez. He'll serve his purpose then likely be on his way.

Some smartass at a Dallas board posted a thread titled "Dallas signs QC!" I almost lost it, since a certain former QC was just on a Dallas area radio statio "clearing things up". ::) About the only thing he cleared up is his lisp.

Larry

Caver was signed because of his "connections".

"He's a razorback.  I'm a razorback.  Let's dance!"

More Mahe please.

Ha...my friend owns and still wears his Quincy Carter jersey. :-D

One of Jim Johnson's all time best lines was after a practice he said that "He's got a flat" when referring to Caver because Caver was known as the Range Rover.

He was beyond stupid. I think he got a negative on his wonderlic.

General_Failure

I don't think he managed to get his name on the wonderlic.

The man. The myth. The legend.

He....still....wears.... it? Shoot, I wasn't a Quincy fan when he played for us.

PhillyPhreak54

Yep. I talked to him the other day and asked him if he finally got himself a new jersey. Someone like Demarcus Ware or Jason Witten and he said no.

But then again, we did have an argument back in the day when we were roomates about Carter vs. McNabb. He thought Quinthy would turn out to be better. :-D

Feva

Your buddy obviously ain't the sharpest knife in the droor.  I'll bet you were able to dupe that moron into paying 75% of the rent, huh?  ;D

Ever notice that's what Kearse always does on fumbles?
Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No pro bowl WR's.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Retarded special teams.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  "I've got to do a better job."  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Running game shines for 3 plays. Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No adjustments anywhere.  Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  (repeat)

Caver ruined my signature football!

I have Sheldon Brown, Lito Sheppard, Harold Carmichael, and Mike Lewis on that ball. I like Quinton sign it because I thought he would turn into a Rosevelt Colvin type linebacker - tall, rangy, quick. So much for that, I think he completely devalued all the signatures on that ball.

Sgt PSN

That's ok.  Brown and Lito are quickly adding to the devaluation of that ball as well.  And Mike Lewis isn't helping out much this year either.  Hope that makes you feel better.
