Mickey Spagnola, of DallasCowboys.com, reports the Dallas Cowboys signed free agent LB Quinton Caver (Chiefs).

Yep. I talked to him the other day and asked him if he finally got himself a new jersey. Someone like Demarcus Ware or Jason Witten and he said no.

But then again, we did have an argument back in the day when we were roomates about Carter vs. McNabb. He thought Quinthy would turn out to be better.

Caver ruined my signature football!

I have Sheldon Brown, Lito Sheppard, Harold Carmichael, and Mike Lewis on that ball. I like Quinton sign it because I thought he would turn into a Rosevelt Colvin type linebacker - tall, rangy, quick. So much for that, I think he completely devalued all the signatures on that ball.

That's ok.  Brown and Lito are quickly adding to the devaluation of that ball as well.  And Mike Lewis isn't helping out much this year either.  Hope that makes you feel better.
