Someone over on the EMB just posted that WIP is reporting Chad will in for a visit tomm....

Can anyone confirm?

General_Failure

Yes. Someone did post that.

Just kidding. I can't really confirm if anyone posted that there.

Oh, that's good. Classic.

That was pretty funny. Regardless, I don't need G_F to confirm it - I'll take your word for it. Somebody on the Eagles Message Board must have posted that.

He's going to try to convert TO and Drew to Mormon's since Andy was unsuccessful.

CBS and NBC 11pm news broadcasts both said he will be in tomorrow for a workout and a physical.

Hopefully this time tomorrow he's back on the team.

I miss the catch and roll. It's often imitated, but never duplicated.

John Clark had an "exclusive" interview with him as he walked through the airport.  ::)  Didn't offer much on anything.  Usual Chad....

I was rather impressed with Josh Parry's rendition the other night.  More a stop, drop and lunge.

I wish Clark would have jet fuel poured on him and ignited. Where's Ugie when we need him?!?

He's the guy who Reid yelled at during the PC because Clark was doing a live stand up. Moron.

QuoteChad Lewis to practice with Birds today

By LES BOWEN

bowenl@phillynews.com

Meanwhile, life goes on for all the Eagles who aren't Terrell Owens.

A familiar face, veteran tight end Chad Lewis, will be on hand at the NovaCare Complex when practice resumes today for Monday's game against the Cowboys. The Eagles apparently want to check out the healing in Lewis' foot, in the wake of injuries to L.J. Smith (concussion) and Steve Spach (foot sprain). Lewis tore his Lisfranc ligament catching the clinching touchdown pass in last January's NFC Championship Game.

The Eagles are expected to update several injury situations, including the shoulder injury center Hank Fraley suffered Sunday that could sideline him for the remainder of the season. It seems likely that Jamaal Jackson will move up from the practice squad if Fraley goes on IR, and Jackson very well might start against the Cowboys, since he has more experience at the position than the current backup, converted guard Trey Darilek.

The Eagles have to make decisions this week on whether to activate for practice or place on IR players now on the nonfootball injury list and the physically unable to play list. Kick returner and safety J.R. Reed will be placed on IR, with nerve damage behind his knee, as will fullback Thomas Tapeh, still recovering from hip surgery, a source said. The Eagles will list defensive end Jerome McDougle with the players practicing, in case McDougle recovers in 3 weeks from his second gunshot wound surgery, which would allow him to still join the 53-man roster this season, though that quick a recovery is unlikely.

But linebacker Greg Richmond, sidelined since back surgery at the start of training camp, is scheduled to practice today and could be the replacement for Jason Short, who broke his fibula in Sunday's loss at Washington.

If they bring on Richmond for Short, and Jackson for Fraley... who would they cut to make room for Chad?

the article says they are putting J.R. Reed and Tapeh on IR.  that should free up the roster spots, right?  i think those guys were just on the PUP before.
