TO takes shot at McNabb?

I heard on WIP that Michael Irvin did an interview with TO, and asked TO that if the Eagles had Favre instead of McNabb, would the Eagles be 7-0. TO supposedly agreed to that, by saying something like "That's pretty accurate."

I don't know if I necessarily agree with it. In fact I don't at all, but now's not the time for TO to bring down the QB if this story is true. Either way, the people that want him gone are still idiots and this comment doesn't change that.

Just wanted to let you TO-haters know that before you post(yet again) to get rid of this guy.

He also supposedly called the Eagles classless. Atta boy TO!! Tell those Eagles how it is. Andy thinks he has control of you and there is nothing he can do about it. His little world is crumbling down! This is what you get Andy for being cheap!

It was on Sportcenter. I caught the tail end of it, but heard summaries on WIP. If you don't believe me turn on the radio or Sportscenter. It'll be back on eventually.

I'm glad TO ripped the team though. I'm tired of the way they do business. I posted my rant in the Westbrook thread.

They led off SC with it. He did praise McNabb for leading the comeback vs Denver though...

The funny thing is, I think half the team agrees with TO now. It's just that TO is the only one with the balls to say it. Good for TO. I'm tired of players backing down to the Eagles. TO doesn't back down.

They were classless for not celebrating it. He's not asking to throw a party, but at least do something to acknowledge him.

Man I love the Eagles to death, but this year they have really got under my skin, and I'm not going to stand for it. I'm glad TO is saying this stuff. This is the most animosity I've felt toward this team in more than 5 years. I've disagreed with just about everyhting they've done this offseason/season and just about every way they've handled everything.

...and end up like the Vikings. History is there to teach you lessons. You don't get rid of stars just because they are outspoken and are out of control sometimes. You think Moss was a poison? How about those Vikings now. This Eagles team would be so awful on offense without TO, it's not even worth thinking about.

If you are ready to give up on the season, then I'm going to have to question your fanship, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I know deep down you don't want them to tank the season, and you are just speaking out of anger. It happens to the best of us.

It also doesn't help that the likes of Trotter, Westbrook also are on TO's side. They don't go public with it, but you can bet that they do inside the locker room.

He said he's one of the worst people he ever met? That's f'n hilarious. I'm guessing he took a shot at him and his bald head. As for him not being back, like I said before, I don't care if he's back or not as long as they get a legit 1,000 yard receiver. If they don't we can start thinking about who we'll take with the #5 pick in the draft.

It never even occurred to me that they should celebrate his 100th td. At first I thought what a self centered ahole. Than I remembered 1979. Many of you may not recall in 1979 when the Eagles stopped the game against Cleveland at The Vet when Harold Carmichael broke the consecutive games with a catch record held by Danny Abramowitz. It was a huge production where they gave him a huge trophy and a bunch of accolades. If I recall they stopped the game for almost ten minutes. I am sure 61 & 64 remember this game.

Something to think about.

Why now? Why in the middle of the season? Just play out the year and get it over with and then leave. What a fleshpop.

I wonder if the reason he all of a sudden decided to practice was because maybe AR already disclosed to the team that McNabb was going to sit out the week. And now TO wants to see how he can play with Detmer or Mike Mac throwing him the ball while at the same time throwing it in McNabb's face that he's willing to play injured for someone else but not him . It's possible.
