Quote from: Jake on November 03, 2005, 03:18:26 PMIt will be interesting to watch the Skins #1 pass defense against the Eagles #1 pass offense this week. The Eagles rushing offense is last in the league and the Skins rush defense is 25th. Something has to give.

The Eagles don't have the best passing offense in the league, just the most used.  Big difference.

Statistically, they average the most passing yards per game.

Completion percentage is the tell all of those types of stats. You can have the most yards in the league, but if your barely completing 50% of your passes, it doesn't mean jack shtein, especially if that is 70% of your offense.

If TO plays, I don't like the Eagles' chances.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

If you have to ask, you haven't been paying attention.

TO = 70% or more of the plays will be passing plays. Guaranteed.
No TO = forced offensive balance against a team with a really beat up DLine.

Maybe Reid will see the light and run the ball anyway, but with TO playing I can't imagine a scenerio where he starts calling running plays out of the blue.

that's basically what you have to hope for.  hopefully, Reid saw during their comeback that the offense was at its most balanced and will try to match that Sunday.  i'm not holding my breath though.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.
