lol...I'll pretend you aren't kidding.  You go to the local library, check out the CDs you want, rip them to your computer, then take the CDs back to the library.

We have a cooperative library system, so I can request any CD from any library in my county online and have it sent to my local branch.  I've yet to not find a CD I want.  And I can take out about 10 CDs at a time.

It's great.

:-D :-D :-D....of course I was kidding.  :-D

If you have a laptop, and the CDs are already at your branch, you don't even have to bother checking them out. :evil

At my library, they only keep the cases out.  Then I have to bring the case to the check-out counter for them to give me the actual disc.

Maybe they do that here, too. I don't know...I haven't visited the library in over a year.   :-X

Are CD's now 'rip' protected or no? Or do you have to have a special type of burner at home?

The protected ones aren't protected very well.

The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Farg no,  I did it to CDs I own. MP3s on the hard drive, original in the CD juke box.
