So, is Griese's knee officially farged, or is it still just speculation?
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

He's almost as farged as my fantasy football team being forced to deal with all the byes and what not.

Torn ACL and MCL

QuoteDoctors who have examined Brian Griese's left knee believe that the Tampa Bay quarterback has both a torn ACL and MCL, multiple team sources have told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

The Buccaneers have not yet made an announcement concerning the extent of the injuries. The injuries, however, are expected to keep Griese sidelined for the rest of the season.

Coach Jon Gruden had said the knee injury could sideline the Tampa Bay quarterback for weeks or possibly the season.

Gruden emphasized that the team had not received a firm diagnosis but raised the possibility that Griese, who has helped the Bucs to a 5-1 start, could be out for the season after being hurt during Sunday's 27-13 victory over Miami.

That all sounds kind of wishy washy to me.

Because stats always tell the whole story. Different defenses, different schemes. But keep whining about it.

what defensive schemes preach "don't tackle"?

what defensive schemes preach "don't tackle"?

Jim Johnson's defense, apparently. The Jags preach a "hold him up so someone else can hit him" scheme. I'm not entirely sure the 9ers have advanced to tackling yet in their complex defense.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Bulger out at least two games

If this means reduced production for Big Game Holt, then I might have to scream screams of pain and fantasy football displeasure.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Exactly, and he still has no sacks.

P.S.  He's making many more tackles that he had been making for the Eagles.  Apparently now, he cares and is actually trying to play well, instead of mailing it in.

He's also the only prominent DL without any sacks.

Dwight Freeney - 5 sacks
Robert Mathis - 7 sacks
Montae Reagor - 3 sacks
Larry Triplett - 2 sacks
Raheem Brock - 2 sacks

The Colts (who led the AFC in sacks last year) are still getting them.  All except for....  :paranoid
