That game's still on?

22-21 Chargers with 10 seconds left. Steelers are lining up for what looks like a 40 yard FG to win the game. Chargers just took a TO to try and ice the kicker.

Kick is good. Steelers win (assuming the Chargers don't return the kickoff for a TD)

This marks two times I've lost a fantasy game by less than a point.

I am one lucky bastich.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

WEST is GOD

Ben hurt his knee. Didn't look good. He hurt it on the last drive.
THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.

Roehtlisberger just got hit ala Bryce Paup on Randall. Doesn't look good.

Didn't looke good at all and they kept showing the freaking replay over and over again.  I used to cringe like a mofo when I saw knee injuries before I had 2 surguries on mine.  Now they just totally freak me out.

Hopefully it's not too serious but they did cart him off the field once the game ended so I don't know if it's that serious or if they were just being cautious.

I hope that bitch is out for the year.  I'm tired of hearing about him.  He will be the one Madden sucks off once Favre retires.

Bigskinbauer

i'm not to good at guessing but that didn't look THAT horrible.  but we will find out tommorrow morning.  i doubt it is a torn acl or something that bad but.....

He was shown on crutches on NFL Live. They think he hyperextended his knee and that's all. Early prognosis is no ligament damage. He'll undergo an MRI in the morning.

WEST is GOD

ESPN said it the Steelers said it was a severe hyperextension and a bone bruise, and they believe all ligaments are in tact.

Hopefully the kid is alright.  It's not his fault that ESPN is guilty of verbal "Farving" of him.

Needing a RB, the Saints traded a conditional 7th round pick to Miami for Jesse Chatman...

Roethlisberger might play this weekend - he has a hyperextension and a bone bruise like they sais last night and his MRI was negative.

And our boy Ike Reese is Atlanta's new starting MLB since Hartwell is out.

I love Ike...but a starting MLB? No.

Well neither would Atlanta want him as their starter.  But he's a damn fine backup.  Better than Simoneau.  I'll always root for Ike Reese.

Me too.

But when he's in the middle they'll be eaten up. Ike's an OLB.

I'd move Brooking back inside and put Ike at WLB.

QuoteEd Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers WR Chris Samp was released from the team's practice squad.
