Did the same thing with Steve Blake, PG for Terps b-ball team, and Jeff Blake, when he was here.

But back to the taterskins, is there anybody who thinks they have a chance against the Broncos?? Not me. The dream ends today the the Skins.

Actually, I do think that they have a *chance* against the Broncs.  Denver was pretty anemic at the beginning of the season what with losing to Miami and all.  If they play like that or like they did for most of the first half against SD for that matter then they could very well lose to the Skins.  Not that I see a Denver loss as likely, mind you, but it definitely isn't a gimme game like, say, our game with Dallas.

I'll be happy if the skins come out and win one of the next two because that is almost 2 of the next 3 because we play the 9ers after the donkeys and the cheifs.  That puts the skins at 5-1 going into two division games and at worst will be 5-3 at midpoint

I'm just glad that noodle-arm is playing well, it'll make it that much more difficult for Gibbs to pull him when he throws those 20-yard ducks come November and December. 

Yeah, he only threw for 322 and 2 TDs in heavy rain.  No big deal.

Meanwhile, the taterskins have put up gaudy numbers against mediocre defense.

Philly travels to Dallas this week.  You think they'll hold the Birds to 14, or even 20?


Don't even compare your offense to ours.  Seriously.

Hmm, I think they held you to 10 (3 actually, your D got the other 7).

Also, don't feel bad that your awesome high-powered offense had 30 LESS yards and scored two less TDs than Santana Moss did by himself against the same team.  I'm sure your offense is really good!

the eagles have a way to beat the teams with great run defense. don't run.

We have played the number 4, 6, 13, and 24 Ds.  You've played the 13th, 24th, 27th, 28th, and 32nd ranked Ds in the league!  Of course after today's performance the Dallas D will be ranked much higher than 24th next week though.

see you guys are more homerish than we are.  That is rediculous to say that you have played better defenses than us, it isn't exactly your fault, it is just the schedule but to say that our team has played easy defenses is ignorant
