MURP

Suzy Kolber in the opening segment talked about Joe Horns cell phone incident and said "ISNT IT OK SOMETIMES TO SAY LOOK AT WHAT I DID"  so Joe Horn is now forgiven for his on the field thing because his house burned down when he was 6.  ok.

TO must have burned down the house.

I think I feel asleep at about 4. I have to sit through an hour+ lecture about the communication process soon. Not my day.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Perhaps you might want to take notes on that one, Bowa/Manuel hater.  :P

Even if I learn how to communicate, it won't stop me from hating on two idiot managers. And Art.

QuoteThe Giants Really Did Get An Unfair Advantage.

Look, we know that the Giants at Saints at Giants game landed in New York under dire circumstances.  Indeed, we've heard that the decision to send the game that would have been played in the Superdome fits with the M.O. of the Commish, who initially wanted to ship the first Giants home game after 9-11 to the field of the visiting team.

But in a league that is obsessive-compulsive about competitive balance, giving a ninth home game to any team is unfair to all of the others.

Don't give us that "anywhere would have been a road game for the Saints" nonsense.  They could have played the game in Houston, where the Saints would have enjoyed the vast majority of support from local fans who are already fed up with their own home team.  They could have played it on Sunday afternoon in Dallas, where the fans have every reason to root against the Giants.

As one reader suggested, moving the game to Philly would have guaranteed a hostile crowd for the Eagles' division rivals.

In the end, the decision to play in New York likely was the result of an assumption that the game would sell out.  That assumption turned out to be more than 10,000 seats light.

And although the NFL lifted the blackout so that the game would be televised in New York, we've heard of at least one secondary market in which ESPN apparently didn't get the memo.  In that market, the first half of the Giants-Saints game was indeed shown on ABC, but when it was time to jump to ESPN for the rest of the game, the viewers were greeted with a blackout message.

Shtein, I would have gone to that game if it was in Philly.

The man. The myth. The legend.

MDS

They should've had the game in Houston and given free tickets to every single person in the Astrodome (if they could go) and in other shelters in the area. NFL did this for money, straight up.

Of course they did.  They're a corporation.  What are you, some kind of Marxist?  Greed is God.

I could use some of that money.

Having to listen to Tagliabue try to give actual REASONING behind his decision to make the game in NY made me ill last night.

It really bothers me and I felt terrible for the Saints to have to deal with that shtein. They are on the road all year long, dont' farging put them in an OPPOSING teams' stadium.  >:(

Not to mention, the Giants fans are so farging pathetic. Can you IMAGINE if that game was in Philly? Even IF the Eagles weren't playing, it would have sold out in a heartbeat.

That stadium was f'ing empty last night. Pathetic.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Win or lose, the Giants fans always take off early.  Jets fans, not as much.
