With a torn ACL.

avon Walker is expected to miss the season with a torn ACL.
It's hard not to think about Walker's decision not to hold out for a new contract here. Walker is a receiver that relies on speed to get deep, so he may not quite be the same player in 2006. Brett Favre may not still be around to throw him the ball. Expect Robert Ferguson to assume his starting role. His fantasy owners must rely on their WR depth to compensate. Sep. 11 - 9:44 pm et

What a blow to the already crappy Packers.

Luckily I didn't take him in any fantasy drafts. Anywho, I (along with others) nailed that this would be the Packers down fall. They're done.

Not so fast. When you are in the worst division in football anyhting is possible. Thanks to that division, someone could make the playoffs at 6-10.

I suppose the Lions and/or Vikings could get to 8-8. And be picked to beat the 13-3 Eagles in the playoffs.

He's not really injured, this is all a ploy by him and Rosenhaus to force a trade.

It's quite the ploy. Rarely does a team trade for a guy that's done for the year.

Actually once the Yankees traded for Jon Lieber when he was done for the year with Tommy John Surgery. But, I guess I'm just setting up the eventual baseball sucks joke.
