You fans think taterskins fans are clueless and are blinding by our hope year and and year out.

For the most part, they are. Just like every other team's fans. There's even a few Eagles fans that think Pinkston and Trotter are good players.

Fight me now.

I like Lenny P because he hates the taterskins....from today's chat. Freudian slip by Len? :-D

QuoteMLeavey (Owings Mills): Okay Len, I'll bite. Your crazy. What does Mr. Nutjob think about Ray Lewis this season? He's been talking up league MVP honors. Can he make it happen?

Len Pasquarelli: based on what i saw in the scrimmage against the deadskins, the guy could be a holy terror again . . . i think it really helps him going back to the 4-3, because he doesn't have to take on blockers as much and can run to the ball . . . also, i think he'll be very effective as a blitzer this year, and will set a career high for sacks

I heard about that, lenny p. was taking a crack at the taterskins because some immature members of extremeskins were hounding his chat with fat jokes, and shtein about him. I think it's stupid to laugh at his weight problem, one guy asked him what's his beef with the taterskins and he completly avoided the question, saying something about how he likes his beef new york - medium rare or some shtein like that.

Please, be more specific.  That doesn't exactly narrow it down.

Art is now writing articles for taterskins.com giving the "fans" take on the Skins.  :-D

QuoteIf the taterskins actually decide to string a few wins together here early in the season, we're done talking about having the best offensive line since the Hogs. When winning starts, we're starting the chatter about having the best offensive line EVER.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

first off that is why we think ramsey makes horrible choices sometimes, that was an INT,even if it wasn't no differense for either team.  It didn't touch the ground, it was bobbled but it was an INT.  taterskins need ramsey to make better decisions or we aren't going no where.  Most fans know that our season is in the hands of Ramsey.  That was an INT and it was a farging dumb pass by ramsey.

check it out, slow it down, was not an int, should have been challenged:

Guess what jackass.  The play happened after the 2 minute warning so the coaches couldn't challenge.  If the replay booth felt that it needed to be looked at, they would have buzzed the ref.  Bottom line is that it was an interception, no doubt about it.  Go back to eating paint chips.

You mean the same refs that blew this call?

No need for name calling! Play it SLLOOOWWW, you know like your brain speed, he did'nt even have feet down while trying to maintain control, terrible call. Get your head out of Reid's ass and take a look, genious. ;D

Guess what? If your brain dead QB didn't try to force the ball in there we wouldn't be having this discussion now would we?

Patrick Ramsey = Not a good QB.

I agree it was a terrible throw, but he's not a bad qb, he's never really had a solid chance with a true nfl offense. He'll get his shot this year, he should get some decent protection, let's reserve judgement until about week 8, that should give us an indication of his talents.

I don't need a legitimate reason to laugh at the taterskins or their delusional, sissybitch fans.

I laugh at them because they're simply the most clueless collection of candyasses I've ever come across and their bizarre hero worship of a fossil like Joe Gibbs is annoying at best and downright pathetic at worst.

Farg them and the horse they collectively rode in on.

:)

What I said.

I actually agree with you here, from what I have seen of Ramsey he does throw the ball well.  His problem has been lack of protection and a very short leash.

Hey, I wanted to clear up a few things here.  There is a lot of misinformation being spread in this thread:

FACTS:

1.  The taterskins defense gave up less points than the Philly D did last year.  Overall the taterskins AS A TEAM gave up 265 points last year while the Eagles gave up 260.  However, Philly had one TD scored against it because of an int.  Six TDs were scored against the 'Skins while the defense was not on the field (one PR, one KR, one int, and three fumbles).  So, therefore, the Eagles D surrendered 253 pts or 15.8 pts/game, and the 'Skins D only gave up 223 pts (tied with the Steelers for least in the league) or 13.9 pts/game.  Therefore, statistically the taterskins defense was better than the Philly D in EVERY statistical category.

2.  Many people in this thread have attacked 'Skins fans who said that Gregg Williams set Carlos Rogers up to get beat deep.  Well, those of you who said that those fans were being delusional obviously know very little about Gregg Williams.  He was in fact trying to expose Rogers as much as possible.  This is what he has always done and he said he would do it before the game!  I couldn't find a quote from this year but here's one from last year:

Quotetaterskins defensive coordinator Gregg Williams told us before the Rams game that he wanted rookie safety Sean Taylor to get beat deep a couple of times against the Rams. Say what? But Williams said that Taylor did not have enough respect for the speed of NFL receivers and he wanted the Rams to run by him a couple of times. Williams wanted Taylor to learn this lesson in the preseason instead of on opening day.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/7639648

Or how about this from the Carolina game two weeks ago when our entire secondary was held out because of injuries:

QuoteThe taterskins gave up 28 points to Carolina last week, but Williams said the chance to see young players against the Panthers' first two units was ideal.
"From an evaluation standpoint, we couldn't have scripted it any better," he said. "I always laugh and shake my head when people try to make an opinion on somebody that plays at the end of preseason games against somebody that won't make an NFL team. You have to play against NFL-type players. We had a chance to move guys up and get them in those situations, and you'll see it again [tonight]."

http://washingtontimes.com/sports/20050819-125544-4629r.htm

In addition, the day BEFORE the Cincy game this thread was started, Don't Trash Carlos Rogers Too Much.  Anyone who has ever actively followed Gregg Williams knows that this is how he brings rookies into the league, we all knew what was going to happen before the game even happened.  So don't be so hostile to the fans that wrote that stuff, they actually know a lot more than you ignorant haters.

3.  The taterskins offense is completely different than last year.  Last year we couldn't move the ball, period.  Our passing game was particularly poor.  This preseason we have the number two passing offense and our two starting recievers are both averaging over 19 yds/catch so that certainly shows improvement.  The entire offense has being completely revamped.  Don't say Gibbs is past it because he has made a lot of changes.  Anyone who is old enough will remember that the thing that really set him apart was his ability to learn and adapt to any situation.  You can't say that a guy who has been away for 12 years has lost it after one season.  Just wait and see what our offense is like this year.

Our running game is also much better.  Against Cincy and Pittsburg (last year's number one run defense in total yards given up - of course WE gave up the least yds/carry thought) we rushed for over 5 yds/carry.  Against Pittsburg we ran for over 100yds in the first half against their first string D.  In the previous two games against you and Miami they gave up 26 yards of rushing in the first halves of those two games combined!  In both of those games the first string D came out before the half thus making it easier to rack up rushing yards too.  Our o-line also gave up a total of ZERO sacks against Carolina and Pittsburg, two of the best pass-rushing teams in football.  Of course, all of this is preseason, I'm just trying to give you a head's up that the offense has changed a great deal, this isn't the same dink and dunk O we had last year.

4.  The taterskins have sold out every game for the last 38 years, the longest streak in the NFL, and they do it with by far the biggest stadium in football.  Your arguments about 'Skins fans make no sense.  If someone supports their team they're a blind homer but then if they sell their tickets they aren't real fans.  Wow, great logic there.

5.  The main problem I have about this thread though is that you all just want to rub it in everyone's faces.  You guys are better, I'll give you that - probably the best team in the NFL.  The 'Skins have been a very poor team for many years, fine.  But still, you're so uncivil and abusive.  Nobody likes a bad winner.  In fact, if you're going to trash us, why don't I trash you.  So here are some facts.  We've won three SBs, how many have you won?

You may say I'm clinging onto history but I don't think so.  Right now, in the present, you guys can't win despite being rated as the best team in the NFC every year.  What's up with that guys?  You're not even the Buffalo Bills!  At least they MADE it to the SB four times in a row.  Last year you doubled your total of SB appearences.  Face it, you can't win when it's important, can you, and that just makes you the most visable losers in the country.  Every year, everyone in the country points and laughs at you because you always fail on the biggest stage.  Every year, we are the offseason winners WHILE YOU ARE THE POSTSEASON LOSERS! :-D  And yet, you're so proud of yourselves.  Awesome, you guys are $15 million under the cap, good job.  Why don't you stop being so damn cheap and try to actually win sometime!  Being cheap isn't something to be proud of.

In fact, now I understand why you like to point and laugh.  It's because you're so insecure with yourselves.  You can't actually win the big one so instaed you need to laugh at organizations who have to make yourselves feel better about your ultimate failure.
