We already mentioned "Love Stinks", right?  One of the best French Stewart bodies of work out there.

Better than his role as the whitest white guy ever in Stargate?

I did say "one of the best".  It's a close call.

Anyone see any trailers for Aeon Flux? Charlize looks absolutely amazing in that. She looks great in every movie, but something about that black hair.

Saw "Sin City" last night....LOVED it. Totally loved it.

Yeah I watched it yesterday it was definately a quality purch.  Good cast (check), hot chicks walking around naked and in thongs (check), and lots of blood and action (check).  Add all of those up and you pretty much get a perfect movie.

The ladyfriend and I saw Red Eye last night. It was surprisingly good. Rachel McAdams (from Wedding Crashers) and Cillian Murphy (Batman Begins, 28 Days Later) took a script with no depth or meat and carried the movie remarkably well.

A short (90 minute) movie with lots of plot holes and two very good actors. Normally a movie with plot holes this big doesn't get any kind of recommendation from me, but we enjoyed it anyway. 3 stars out of five.

Wife and I watched two movies over the weekend...

"The Upside of Anger" -  I give it a solid 3.5/5 (4/5 for women, and 3/5 for men).  Costner plays the drunken, pot-smoking, ex-baseball player.  Joan Allen plays the uptight, mean, bitchy broad.  Alicia Witt and Felicity play girls much younger than they really are, and Erika Christensen ("Swimfan") has huge knockers.  Anyway, the movie is entertaining in that it's not overly predictable and the casting is perfect.  It's not really a romantic comedy, because it's not that funny.  But there are enough funny parts to get you through it.

"Guess Who" - 2.5/5.  Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher are very funny at times, and almost unwatchable at others.  The movie is extremely formulaic and predictable, but I still think it's an improvement over "Mr. 3000".  Anyway, I wouldn't go out of your way to see this, but it is mildly amusing.

"Guess Who" - 2.5/5...

Here's an idea, let's take a classic movie about racial tension and make it hip and edgy by, stay with me here, making the white guy be the one who's out of place and unwelcomed. We'll put extreme-generation actors in it. It'll be great!

Boo.

It was the 3rd best Ashton Kutcher movie I can remember watching, behind "The Butterfly Effect" (Director's Cut) and "Dude, Where's My Car?"

No movie has ever combined the vison of hookers and guns better than that movie....
