Interesting story on ESPN.com that says the Eagles sent Owens a letter over the weekend outlining his actions that the team has deemed detrimental from the last several weeks and months. Owens said he received the letter, so I wonder what his reaction will be. Does he now realize how serious the situation is? Does he know that if he makes more missteps his season will be in jeopardy?

I hope to listen and watch ESPN's coverage tonight while I'm in the press box. Will they go overboard on Owens? How much will they talk about Corey Simon, who could also be back for practice on Wednesday. Boy, would that be a fly-under-the-radar move. If Simon is looking for some media to beat the drum for his contract, he would be picking a bad day to report.

Brian Westbook? I would be surprised if he played tonight. No reason ... I do think, and it's just a feeling, that his contract situation will be resolved sooner rather than later. The Eagles aren't 'going to let hiim go anywhere.
