The man. The myth. The legend.

"I'll be back at camp in my camo shirt, hat, headphones and sunglasses"

"I had to sign a secret waiver"

He said that twice and twice Banner has refuted that claim.

TO said he will report and then said he will continue to be the same way

Who cares, just play football. I hope he doesn't say a word all damn season. ::)

TexasEagle

Same old, SD. He'll be there to play, he won't be happy. Blahblahblah...

PhillyPhreak54

Relationship with Andy Reid will be "the same as it was when I was in camp, I don't have to talk to him. I know how to play football".

He did bring up Favre's commennts about not having to mentor or talk to Aaron Rodgers.

"I don't think we can exist in this environment" - talking about McNabb :o

TexasEagle

God this is mindnumbing... get the damn game back on.

QB Eagles

Trashing Reid and McNabb like this, it's hard to imagine TO playing with the team for much longer.

Nice read from Lincoln Kennedy...

QuoteLincoln's address: Two sides to T.O.

(Aug. 11, 2005) -- Let me preface anything I say about Terrell Owens by first acknowledging that I know him personally. I've seen him at various functions, even hung out with him on occasion, and from what I've seen, two distinct personalities have emerged.

There is an on-camera, very public personality he has shown that is a complete opposite from the man I know as a person. This on-field persona strives for attention at all times, whether it be outrageous celebrations, searching out sideline cameras or publicly calling out teammates. All of T.O.'s antics from this offseason have only served to reinforce this public image.

I find this persona to be unsettling, and unfair to his teammates and coaches. This sort of activity becomes a distraction to a team that is still trying to meet very reasonable championship aspirations.

From personal experience, I know a very different side of Terrell Owens. I know a quiet, easy-going, laidback person. I know a person who likes to have fun and joke around just like anybody else. I know he loves the game. All you have to look at is his training regimen, and the production he's managed as a result.

Terrell Owens has shown a different personality away from the camera.
I don't question whether he has a passion for the game. I do question whether he has the professionalism he needs to leave all the other stuff behind and become a truly transcendent player. His actions from recent weeks form the type of distractions that prevent a championship-caliber team like the Eagles from actually winning a championship and also ultimately end up breaking up such a team.

I can't wait for the season to start. I can't wait for the real T.O. to rejoin his team. And I can't wait for him to add his talents to his team in the pursuit of the Super Bowl.

From your fingertips to Quasimodo's fargin' ears, Lincoln.

I farging hate Drew Rosenhaus...after every second question he chimes in saying "But, but, but Boomer! We just want a fair contract for TO. He put his career on the line in the Super Bowl. He signed the waiver"

Berman asked him if he'll be in uniform against ATL "Who knows?" and Rosenhaus was nodding his head yes and then he piped in with "He will be there playing".

Berman called him a hero for his SB performance and Drew asked him if he thought TO should be the highest paid WR and Berman said "you don't have to negotiate with me"

Rome

Berman called that delusional fargin jerkoff a hero?

Come on, you gotta be kidding me.

Now I've heard everything.  :puke

QB Eagles

It was more like calling his Super Bowl performance heroic, which I would agree with.

PhillyPhreak54

Berman's interview was terrible. The softballs he lobbed up there were big and easy to knock outta here.

thrillhouse

I really like Boomer but I wish he would have hit them hard and not just gone along with everything that guy said, and that hero stuff...  :puke

Rosenhaus is a snake, he is deceiving and thinks everyone watching is a moron :boo
