Does anybody think TO will play for the Eagles this season? IMO he won't but I could be wrong.

Yes.  The Eagles aren't going to trade him and I don't think the league wants them to trade him.  Because if they do, the team that takes him will most likely rework his contract.  TO wins, NFL loses.  He's not going to hold out because if he does he won't get paid.  Eagles win, TO loses.  And once the season starts he's not going to be anywhere near the distraction he is now because Reid won't hesitate to suspend his ass again (ala Meshawn) and he won't get paid.  Eagles win, TO loses.

So if nothing else, TO will be on the field for the Eagles this year.  Maybe not next year.  But this year, yes.  I believe he will be.

I agree with your whole post, I just think that sooner rather than later it will be for the season.  I certainly could be wrong but I just see it getting to that point.

These guys still have names? Shouldn't they all be identified by barcodes now?

Joe Leg's take on the T.O. pajama party:

I'm not sure what happened to cause Terrell Owens to leave camp, but I am pretty sure of the consequences and that is that the Eagles are short on veteran receivers.
This team wasn't going into the season with a great set of receivers even with T.O. with last week's loss of Todd Pinkston to injury, but this incident will set the Eagles offense back.

Eagles' executive Joe Banner and coach Andy Reid have to start looking around the league to find a veteran receiver to come in and play just a month before the season starts. To successfully transition a new guy in to Reid's system they should look at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers because they run similar systems. That's imperative because of the nature of Reid's system and also because of the lack of time to get ready that they find someone who can walk in and have an idea of what's going on in the playbook.

Looking forward the Eagles may not be in terribly bad shape if the Eagles have to go the entire season without Owens. They are primarily a defensive team anyway and will still have Donovan McNabb, who has played without top-notch receivers his entire career with the exception of last season, helming the offense. This isn't a team like the Packers who will rely on their offense to win games. The Eagles can win those 13-10 ballgames because of their defense and will do it this year if they must. Also, Coach Reid is a very good play caller and will put McNabb in favorable positions regardless of who is at the receiver position.

All in all this isn't the time for Eagles fans to panic.

I hate it when that icehole is rational and makes sense.

He called Reid a good play caller and you say he's rational?

They had to add a Superbowl winning QB at the end.

I woke up pretty late today at around 3 pm. I was still dead tired because I was up pretty much all morning. I turn on the radio and I hear callers saying "I can't believe TO did this." I'm still half asleep like oh, cmon what did he do now? I wish I just went back to sleep because I have a headache after all this mess.

Wow.  First time in I don't know how long I agree with what Theisman's saying.  Of course, part of the reason could be because I was able to read his comments and didn't have to listen to it.  For all I know, Theisman could say a lot of things I agree with.  It's just that as soon as the sound of his voice punctures my ear drums my brain immediately produces a chemical that blocks him out.  If Joe Theisman had a morning talk show, he'd be Regis.

Yes they did.  It's an attempt to make readers forget they are Theisman's comments and believe they come from someone intelligent.
