WHO are you suggesting will replace TO and Pinkston? There's nobody out there. No one! There's adequate players such as Tai Streets, but he's not taking us to the promised land. No one will trade for this bipolar headcase.

We HAVE no chance at winning a SB without TO. Period.

Anyone who thinks they do is delusional.

is it April 1?

How were the Eagles able to make it to three consecutive NFC Championship Games without Owens? Though WR play was disgraceful in the Carolina game, the Eagles could have won had Westbrook been healthy. The Eagles should have beaten Tampa Bay. This was with Pinkston and Thrash. Lewis and anybody are upgrades over Pinkston and Thrash.

The defense is better than it has been in any of those years. Anyone who believes the Eagles can't make the SuperBowl without Owens is the biggest fargtard ever.

We have Westbrook and Buck at RB...one injury away from being one of those and Reno Maha/Ryan Moats. We have a 3rd and 4th string WR (the 4th string hasn't even proven he can catch a cold). Yes, our defense is tremendous, but on offense, where exactly are you planning on getting points?

I posted about Warrick on the Rest of the NFL thread...he's about to be cut unless he takes a pay cut.

OK, but Howard said at the meeting he tried to get more money from them with Pinkston out.

So, was it a misunderstanding? Did he think Reid meant leave camp? Or was this his choice?

They were in a team meeting. Not in a meeting where they'd be talking contract.

Obviously, but TO could bring it up anyway. If not, why else would he ask him to leave? It makes sense.

The only question is did Reid mean go home, or did read me just leave the meeting? Also did TO misunderstand Reid if Reid only meant leave the meeting and not camp?

I will bet you any amount of money TO didn't bring up his contract in front of the entire team.

i'll take that bet. i think thats exactly what happened

Did we need TO the last 4 years to make it to where we are?

MURP

its unfortunate that TO has possibly killed any trade value whatsoever, because the Eagles could have gotten a nice boatload of picks to get rid of TO and Simon.

PhillyGirl

Wingspan, I completely disagree.

They were able to get points with Pinkston and Thrash as receivers. Last I checked Westbrook is healthy. As far as I'm concerned, he'll be healthy all season sans a game or two. Why do you have to always be such a Negadelphian?

TO helped make Pinky and Mitchell better.  He gave them confidence.
