Two names a friend of mine just mentioned as veteran (serviceable) #3 WRs....thoughts?

Tai Streets
Curtis Conway

Both played in the Niners WCO?

yeah, they are both WR's on the downside of their careers.   Both are a little worse at this point in their career than Antonio Freeman when we signed him.

WEST is GOD

Streets doesn't replace that speed Pinkston does, but unless we pull of a trade, I can't see anyone out there who can.

No one seems to be missing Freddie. Imagine that.
I think I'd start drinking if he was here and became the starter.

You don't drink? What the farg is wrong with you?

I don't like alcohol.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Would anyone really be surprised if Reid just stuck with Lewis, Brown, et. al?

I didn't think they'd slipped that far down....but then again, as a veteran WR to split time with Reggie in there....I wouldn't have a problem with that.

well, they have.

Tai Streets didn't slip, he's not even 30 yet. He sucked last year because Detroit sucked.

Might I remind everyone that Todd Pinkston was accountable for 1 TD last season.

You say that like he did little else.  Come now.

He had more Ricky Watters "For who?" moments than TDs....

age doesnt matter.  Plenty of players have come and gone long before they reached 30.  The Titans were worse than the Lions last year, Drew Bennett had a great season.   Roy Williams had a very good rookie year for the Lions.  Even Az-zahir Hakim was better than Streets last year.   If Streets has a great season ill be sure to come here and eat crow for it.
