Mr. & Mrs. Smith was VERY entertaining and I enjoyed it.  Think those of you that are married might enjoy it a little more.

So it's Everybody Loves Raymond, but with guns?

I should also say that for those that haven't seen Collateral and hate going out to rent movies or paying for them through cable, HBO "adopted" Collateral so it's going to be on HBO a lot these upcoming few weeks. If you didn't see it it's a very good movie, make sure to check your local listings.

Really? I saw it the other night, and thought it sort of sucked.  Way over the top and rife with ridiculous coincidences and bad acting.

I also caught The Bourne Supremacy this weekend-- I thought that was a much better movie.  Entertaining and well put-together.

Still looking forward to seeing "Smith"... didn't get a chance this weekend.

We did watch all three movies on our Netflix queue.

"Little Black Book":  Awful.  Even the wife hated it.
"Beyond the Sea":  A good movie for Bobby Darin fans, an awful movie for Bobby Darin purists, and an average movie for everyone else.
"Team America":  Get drunk or high and enjoy.  Very childish and tongue-in-cheek, as expected.

I hope to God I never meet any Bobby Darin purists. I defy anyone to come up with a more boring description for a human being.

The "Dukes of Hazzard" purists were right up there too.

Watched 'Suddenly Last Summer" this weekend. It's an old Katherine Hepburn/Liz Taylor movie.  It was on AMC and I was drunk with my lady friend so we 'watched' it while other stuff was going on.

It was laughably bad. Possibly one of the most laughably bad movies I've seen in a while. The unintentional humor was pretty rampant, but don't bother watching it. It isn't worth it.

Yes, it wasn't even good enough to call itself hot garbage.

I guess it depends on how much of a critic you are. I find myself to be really critical with action movies, as a cheesy aspect, but I just loved Tom Cruise in that role. He played one hell of a contract killer. I thought it was one of the best roles he's ever played. Most people enjoyed it more than I did, but for me it was a fun time out when I saw it in the theater.

I liked Cinderella Man a lot better than I liked Collateral though. If you haven't seen that definitely check it in in the theaters. It was pretty intense on the big screen with the up close action.

caught Cinderella Man last night, great flick.

Paul Giamatti has a good chance at an Oscar for this one.

Caught 2 movies recentley:

Mr. and Mrs. Smith- Friend dragged me to it. Stupid action movie with lots of ridiculous gadgets and scenes. Kinda fun, but mostly stupid. If you want to see Jolie, rent Gia where she's actually naked.

Collateral- Not bad. The ending could've been better, but still a very well acted and well written movie.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
