Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Ok saw Sin City last night finally and i thought it was awesome.  The visuals were so original, they did such a good job with that, I was totally blown away by that whole concept.  It was like a comic book coming to life.  The action was non-stop and brutal.  Even though they substitued the color of blood sometimes, it was pretty violent which got 2 big thumbs up for that.
I was surprised with how much T&A was in the film, lots of boobies. :yay The story line IMO wasn't that strong or original, but it was enough to keep me interested and really into the movie.  I gonna say they are going to win awards for the visuals in one way or another, i don't know how to define what they did exactly.  Anyway great original flick that i would recommend to the guys, my girl didn't like it, but agreed that the visuals were amazing.

Rented Blade Trinity also, big disappointment.  Not even close to the first or 2nd.  2nd is my favorite.  The addition of new good characters was gay, especially the token funny guy, who i just wanted to see die off early, but they kept him in the entire movie.   :puke

Saw Constantine last week and that was pretty good. :yay

I saw Constantine when it was still in the theatres here and while I enjoyed the movie I thought there were too many "incomplete thoughts".

Could be. I'm not so sure about the thoughts cause I practice Buddhism. However, the character of John Constantine is better than Neo's. I like Neo though.

His best character is still Johnny.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Anyone else see THIS trailer yet?

I can't wait to see the remake of this movie. Mainly because Johnny Depp is in it...and he's perfect for the role. Even moreso since I watched the trailer.

And holy shtein, this actually looks HILARIOUS

I loved the first one.

Yes! I'm anxious to see it.

There are a lot of good Summer flicks coming out this season, despite the obvious -- like the new Star Wars, Batman Begins, and The Fantastic Four -- the one movie I want to see is the re-make of the 'Bad News Bears' starring Billy Bob Thorton. I have the originals on DVD and watched them all the time when I was younger.

Bad News Bears (the original) was my favorite movie growing up. I thought Tatum O'Neal was the shtein because she was a bad ass baseball player.

FFette is obsessed with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and is also a huge Burton/Depp fan, so we'll be there opening night.  Probably will wait until DVD for Deuce 2.

Was going to see HHGTTG tonight, but will wait until Sunday afternoon.

I was always a Kelly Lee fan growing up. Hard not to like a 13 year old kid who's a great baseball player, picks up hot chicks, curses, drives a Harley, and smokes cigarettes.  8)

You planning on camping out like us Star Wars Geeks do?

Just watched The Final Cut, an indie flick starring Robin Williams. Vaguely like Minority Report, but different enough to be interesting.

LOL...I won't see it because he's in it.   :-D

Jim Carrey would have been a better choice IMO.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.
