In Honor of Herb Osterhout
The Eagles are proud to call Herb Osterhout a friend and were lucky enough to visit with him on a recent trip to Philadelphia. While in town, Herb and his wife Jess joined their friends Bob and his wife as they received a VIP tour of the NovaCare Complex. Then, a surprised Herb was escorted outside to watch the team as they practiced for the next day's game vs. the Green Bay Packers. But what shocked him the most, was when the team all came over after practice to shake Herb's hand. Everyone here at the Eagles is glad to have met Herb, and we all wish him well.

Herb and his wife are awesome. I thought what the Eagles did for him was outstanding and it goes to show that the organization is as classy as can be. I'm confident he's going to fully recover. Excellent pictures and write-up.

That's great news, BigEd.  Thanks for posting it here--I would honestly never have seen it otherwise.  Nice to see that the organization is in touch with the fans at least enough to recognize people like Herb.  He's been a die hard supporter and was a staple on the Eagles MB when I first started several years ago.  Very classy move, and one which I'm elated to say isn't uncharacteristic of the Eagles.
