21-3 after the first.  Actually hitting people and playing with intensity, i'm loving this.  LETS GO STATE!

Hey the MAC is a decent conference nowadays and they are winning 41-3 in the first half.  I know I speak for every PSU fan when I say we will take that against anybody after the previous season.

Dang, even I am surprized how good State is looking today.  It's going to be a long college season for Murp, PG, and the others blind sided by the BLUE AND WHITE!!!  LET'S GO STATE!!

That "Heisman candidate" QB from Akron sure looked special, with his 5 yard completions.

Their problem is their coach came from the University of Pissburgh.  Puck Fitt.

48-10 ain't half bad with the skill position starters sitting for most of the 2nd half.  That really was a thorough ass-whoopin', like you'd expect from the PSU teams of old.  Nice start to the season.

Naturally, your only response to what you know is the truth is to remove the post.  Fargin' hypocritical losers.

I was actually very impressed with the Akron Qb he was running around and pulling throws from his arse.  The thing that most impressed me about PSU was their ability to run the football, they were able to gash the defense.  Next week will be a telling game for the Lions if they can beat BC at their place that.  BC has always played PSU tough even when BC sucked they played PSU tough.  I still am skeptical to allow my expectations to get too high.

Your personal bashing comments are completely uncalled for and will not be tolerated on this board.  If you make any other personal attacks on this board you will not be posting here anymore.  This is the only warning Im giving.

In that case, all I ask for is a slight bit of credit for the Nittany Lions where credit is due.  Even trash-talking Pukes fans come back after a big loss to eat crow, and I expected more from people of yours and PG's perceived caliber than the response(s) given.  However, if need be, I'll simply lower my expectations and chalk your behavior towards PSU as irrational jealousy.

And how can I not take your consistent bashing of Penn State personally as an alumnus?  Do you not take it personally when people persistently trash talk something you're a part of and/or believe in?

No more curse-laden personal attacks from me on the public boards.  I did go a little further than I would have usually due to alcohol and some extremely troubling and sad news I received not long before.  My apologies to you.

Yes, I did watch the Michigan game.   I suppose you either didnt know because you didnt watch the game, or you didnt include it because you hate Michigan, but their starting QB was injured.  Their true freshman blue chipper (Henne) had 3 days to prepare for and start their game.   He played well for his first game ever with little prep  time.   Miami Of Ohio's punt returner (the best in the nation) really destroyed Michigan's punt team and kept Miami's offense in good field position all day.  Those 2 factors are what kept the game closer than it should have been until Michigan finally just decided to kick some ass.

Akrons defense was just god awful and PSU did what they needed to run em over.  When their starting Cornerback couldnt cover Zach Mills on a pass from Michael Robinson, I knew they were gonna be hammered.

No, I did watch the Michigan game.  But like you said, Henne is a "blue chipper" (from central PA iirc) and he did have good blocking all day.  No question Miami was severely outmatched, but the game should have been closer score-wise.  It'd be hard to say that the last two TD's for Michigan were anything but score-padding.

Don't underestimate the speed of Zack Mills.  He runs a solid 4.65.   :-D
