Looks like we gave up our 3rd which will be our worst pick that round, the Phins are picking up a chunk of his salary, and he already knows Fangio's system. Went into the bye with Uche/Loljularee/Johnson come back with Smith/BG/Phillips. That's a big upgrade

short of him going absolutely off with the eagles (unlikely in that he will be a backup in a rotation) he seems like a one year prove you can stay healthy deal type player...meaning a contract not monetarily strong enough to get you a pick

Define "absolutely off." Does half a dozen sacks rate? Because if he stays healthy and does even that much, he will certainly sign somewhere for enough to qualify.

yeah 6-8 sacks or something along those lines...or maybe less but a big post season performance...again unlikely since his biggest full season sack total is 8.5 and that was as a starter

btw his is one year prove it deal could be with the eagles

howie had more picks in 26 than he could use. grabbed the best pass rusher on the market for a redundant pick they were gonna move anyway. this is good!
