Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Weird. I watched it last night and had a good time. The only real issue I had with it was Ma Kent's awful accent.

Agreed. I went into it not expecting much, and thought it was generally fine. They wanted a brighter vibe that was true to the comics, and they executed that pretty well. Forgettable movie, but not a truly bad one. I did think the scene with the street vendor getting shot in the head was kind of a jarring tonal outlier, though.

Maybe it improved after the first 20 minutes and my stress level was like 9.9 out of 10 when I watched it.

Really disappointing because the trailer looked good when I first saw it several months ago.

It only got worse. I bought into the hype and paid to see it in the theaters. Gunn was a bad choice for a main character movie. He's better with offshoots like GOTG
