Well, he's in Portugal and Spain this week for some meetings before a Billie Eilish and Tom Odell show over there to lay some groundwork for a Europe tour. Which is the long way of saying, I have no way of knowing for sure ;-).

I don't ask a lot of questions about how he balanced things, but he somehow managed to graduate college a year early which will let him give this music thing a broader run. He's been recording down in Nashville with Butch Walker who usually works with far heavier hitters (diverse genre stuff... Green Day, Taylor Swift, Weezer, Pink, Panic at the Disco, etc.) but likes Jake. He had a studio EP (The Half Left Out) come out last year, followed by a live album from Asbury Park (Jake Thistle Live at the Transparent Clinch Gallery). The full new album will be out this Fall. He's Jake Thistle on the streaming platforms. A single from the Butch Walker sessions came out yesterday, if you're bored. Sort of classic lyrics with an indie pop aesthetic for this one.
