PHILADELPHIA — Right-hander Merrill Kelly walked off the field with his glove in his hand and a trainer by his side, his face a mixture of frustration and rage. It had happened again, cramping in his right hamstring that once more forced him from a game.

This is believed to be the seventh time since August 2023 that Kelly has left a start due to cramping in his legs. The first four times, it happened at Chase Field, where the sweltering heat of late summer can overwhelm the ballpark's cooling system.

he had a .640 OPS 10 days ago...dude has been on it for a week, but lets see how sustainable it is

my main takeaway from april is the starting pitching is really good, the offense is all over the place and the bullpen stinks except for jose. have, have we seen this before?

Vagina boy pitched well tonight, had that second inning when first two batters got on with singles and the meltdown inning is early feel to it but he did a nice job all night. Bullpen was looking ok the past 4 games until  Hernandez boner in the ninth.

Harper 6-42 since his last multiple hit game on 4/20.  Maybe he was high.

Ideally the bats get going and stay consistent and then they just need to address the zesty bullpen
