I want to farging body slam Kimbrel by his man bun.

fargkkkkkkkkk

PhillyPhreak54

Walker and Lorenzen should've been in before Kimbrel.

Maybe Walker follows Sanchez? So you have Hoffman for the Kimbrel inning.

farging hell. Up 5-2 to go up 3-1 and he gives it up to some god damn little shtein.

I'm sick

Don Ho

Topper stunk tonight, plain and simple.

Kimbrel can't pitch again. Safe to say we weren't playing the "oh shtein here comes Kimbrel, I can't watch" nervous laughter card.  NO, we all knew once Ginger Jesus took the mound it was going to be ugly and at best he gives up only one run.  Throw a farging strike you POS.  HOF as in Hall of Failure.  Beat it icehole.

Soto and KK
27 pitches
10 strikes
Miracle it was only 5-3 after that disaster.

Buddy said at least 40% Phillies fans.  Dbacks crowd was cool, no shtein talking at all. Kind of a "hey, games over lets go grab a beer" crowd.

Thoughts to ya'll on pulling Sanchez so soon?

I get that, given their personnel, they need some untrustworthy pitchers to eat innings, but running OK and Kimbrel out there in those spots felt like mistakes at the time. Not the time to get them redemption for yesterday. OK struggling to get the ball over the plate and Kimbrel is in arsonist mode.

If your other options blow it, at least the blame gets spread around the team instead of psychologically concentrated on the same guys who gave up runs yesterday.

This is who they are.  They've been this way all season so it's not like it's a surprise that the zesty bullpen blows leads now when they've done it all year.

But putting Mitch Kimbrel in there again is just a fireable offense IMO.  No way he belongs in any high pressure situation.

This series should be over right now and it's not because of piss poor decisions by a stupid manager.  It's because their bullpen sucks and blows leads when the heat is on.  It's been that way since April.

Quote"The last two games sucked," Kimbrel said. "I rolled up in here and cost us two games. The bright side is we're still tied at 2-2 and we've got a game here tomorrow, then we get to Philly."

No way, no f'ing way, you did not just say that.

Quote"I trust these guys," manager Rob Thomson said pregame. "Has he scattered the zone at times? Sure. But if you look at our charts, everybody's had a little bit of a hiccup, but they've bounced back. So you've got to trust that."

This just in.........Topper is an idiot

Loser.  He's a farging LOSER.  I hate that shtein.  Call a spade a spade, you gutless hump.

MDS

they needed to score more runs yesterday, i said before the game 8-10 was the number to hit. covering 27 outs with 3 reliable pitchers is a bit of a challenge. and sure enough.

theyre in a really bad spot. 13 pitchers on staff but only 6/7 of them are usable. theres not much they can do...walker and lorenzen are complete garbage. kimbrel is cooked. soto cant throw strikes. kerkering is in over his head.

to me it all really goes back to G3 where they couldnt score a god damn run. so what if you lose the bullpen game, if they get to 5 runs in G3 the series is over. now theyre up against it, big time.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

Kimbrel being anywhere near a high leverage situation is unpardonable.

MDS

in a vacuum i agree, but they really didnt very many options to navigate yesterday's game. kimbrel was going to have to get outs. he was asked to get outs against the bottom of the order, and couldnt. you can go back in time and maybe have him try to pitch the 4th or the 5th and leave that pocket for hoffman.

we all know what kimbrel is, but he did pitch effectively against atlanta. and earlier this series. it all comes for me to G3. you got caught short handed in 1/4 games, fine. they had G3 won if they could do anything offensively.

Craig Kimbrel cannot pitch another meaningful inning for this team.

Good start tonight.

Ya boi is a bit drunk tonight. Spent the day at the renaissance festival. Walked in the door right as Schwarber was digging in.

Gotta have it boys

Don Ho

Probably the most enjoyable Phillies game I've listened to/watched all post season.  It took some work, gotta be patient. I just stopped to rewind or speed up a couple times, but I was able to simulcast the Phillies radio broadcast with the TBS. So much more enjoyable than listening to those farging clowns on T BS.

Haha

I wore all Phils stuff today. Rollins jersey, shorts, hat and shoes. Got four "go Phils", one "Astros own you" and one real life DBacks fan wearing DBacks gear talking to me.
