The time has arrived. Six months has flown by and kick off week is here. Some news just breaking that Travis Kelce has hyperextended his knee and is being examined and his status for Thursday is unknown.

MDS

when are we getting our j predictions
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

PhillyPhreak54

I started typing them up earlier but decided to take a nap instead. Last free day before going back to work.

Maybe tomorrow!

MDS

im looking at your picks from last year:
afc east/north nailed
afc west got kc/lac wrong but lv/den right
afc south was off
4/7 playoff teams, 2/4 division winners, 3/4 divisional teams...but bills/chargers was not the afcccg

nfc east nailed, south messed up 2/3rd place
nfc north/west were off
5/7 playoff teams, 1/4 divisional....but the packers and the rams didnt even make the playoffs

called sauce gardner droy and matt rhule being fired. i guess you get credit for the most obvious things in the world.

decent regular season calls but couldnt hack it when it counted. gotta do a better job. lets go.

QB Eagles

"the Kansas City Chiefs believe All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce's ACL is intact" - not exactly a ringing endorsement for him playing on Thursday

Diomedes

Mahomes may have some heavy lifting to do.  They're counting on Toney to become something he's never shown...skills to pay the #1 WR bills.  And he's hurt, too.
There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists." - Yosemite Park Ranger

General_Failure

As much as I think Reid is a zesty parent, he dragged McNabb to four straight NFCCGs while having him throw to Todd Pinkston and Chad Lewis. One legged Kelce or not, pencil the Chiefs in for the AFCCG until they actually lose on the playoffs.

The man. The myth. The legend.

PhillyPhreak54

Kelce is out tonight

Onto the predictions. A lot of tough calls this season!

AFC East

1. Buffalo
2. New York
3. Miami
4. New England

Is the Jets hype real? Maybe somewhat. But to be claiming the defense is like the 85 Bears? Blasphemy. I think they'll be good but the Bills stay atop the division. But the Bills better do something because their staying power is wilting a bit. Miami could be in the WC mix too. Pats? Most of those fans up there are experiencing suck for the first time. Because you know they weren't fans during the pre-Brady days.

AFC North

1. Cincinnati
2. Baltimore
3. Pittsburgh
4. Cleveland

Another hard one to pick. Pittsburgh is going to be decent. Anyone else sick of Baltimore and Harbaugh? I am. But they have some weapons at receiver now. Weaknesses in the secondary keep them behind Cincy. Would not be shocked if they finished behind Pittsburgh. Cleveland is bringing up the rear because Watson hasn't shown anything close to being what he was prior to his creep days.

AFC South

1. Jacksonville
2. Tennessee
3. Indianapolis
4. Houston

Doug and Trevor are the class of this division. Which isn't hard to do. Tennessee's QB situation could hinder them. I'm rooting for Steichen to do well for Indy but can Richardson be that guy? I probably would've gone with Minshew for awhile. Ryans is the guy for Houston and maybe Stroud is too. But too early for them. I like their safety Pitre and a few other pieces they have.

AFC West

1. Kansas City
2. Los Angeles
3. Denver
4. Las Vegas

The Chiefs remain on top despite some cracks in the foundation with Jones and Kelce and the energy it takes to be so good for so long. But they stay until knocked off. Can Herbert do it? I know they better or else Staley is gone. Can Payton revive Wilson? Not sure. They'll be better but not good enough. Vegas is a poverty franchise.

NFC East

1. Philadelphia
2. Dallas
3. New York
4. Washington

The Eagles schedule is hard. If they can make it through that gauntlet they're set up nicely. Dallas has to rely on Dak and his picks and McCarthy and his playcalling. Washington is on the come up but is Sam Howell that guy? Likely not. So they remain behind the Giants. Who still have that goofball turnover machine at QB.

NFC North

1. Minnesota
2. Detroit
3. Green Bay
4. Chicago

Another tough one to pick because of the hype trains. Green Bay is the only one not getting pumped up by fans and media. Chicago is getting love but is it worthy? Lions have been pimped the entire off season but can they put it together? They still have Goff. Minny with Cuzzo and JJ along with Flores running their defense sets them up top for me.

NFC South

1. New Orleans
2. Atlanta
3. Carolina
4. Tampa Bay

I think Carr landed in a good spot for him. The Saints could be pretty good. If Ridder is half decent the Falcons have some weapons. Did someone tell The FedEx Heir that Kyle Pitts is on his team over the off season? The Bucs are going to probably challenge the Cards for the top pick.

NFC West

1. Seattle
2. San Francisco
3. Los Angeles
4. Arizona

Total wish pick but rooted in some logic. I'm not sold on Purdy. Could he be legit? Maybe. But he was a 7th rounder for a reason and teams have film on him. Plus I want SF to fail. Geno has some good weapons and if he plays like he did last season they could unseat SF. Rams stink. So do the Cards. But while I want Gannon to be embarrassed ideally they win enough to miss the top pick. Or Caleb Williams says farg off and stays in school.

As long as the Birds are partying on Broad I don't care if I miss the others by a mile

MDS

you just dont come back from 27-0

plus even in a vacuum i cant see a team with no fan base and no home games ever winning

Joe B caked off by cheapskate Mike Brown

A record deal: Joe Burrow has reached agreement with the Bengals on an 5-year, $275 million extension that includes $219.01 million guaranteed and makes him the highest-paid player in NFL history, sources tell ESPN.

PhillyPhreak54

Fake punt and they get it inside their own 20!

Eat it, Chiefs

PhillyPhreak54

I still hate that CJGJ is gone

PhillyPhreak54

Mahomes could throw TDs to lil guy

Detroits fumble is gonna kill them. Also accepting that holding call probably hurt too but then again you'd like to think you can stop a 3/17
